I think Curry will do well, maybe even better than Morrow would do.

That sucks for morrow. But he did get into the soph/rookie game which is pretty good for an undrafted 2nd year player.

I think he had a much bigger argument for being in the 3 point shootout last year. He isn't really lights out this year like he was last year.

Would be sweet if Curry won. The Warriors need something/anything to be proud of this season.

While Morrow is 6th in the league in 3pt %, he is only 44th in 3pt made. That probably was the kiss of death for him.

The NBA probably wants to market Curry a bit to the national audience as he is the "type" the NBA league offices could really get behind.

I will be rooting for him BIG TIME!!!

Make us proud Steph

It sucks that we have to think about such things, but it's true.

seems like he can't hit an open jumper to save his life... it's only when theres a hand in his face or it's off the dribble. too bad for morrow, you can dominate next year AM

Anyone else like the 3-Point competition better than the dunk competition? It's always been my favorite part of All-Star weekend.

I agree with that. The dunk contest is SO boring to me. They ruined it a long time ago with their stupid format.

Yes! Also, the All-Star game is one big setup game. It doesn't seem like either side tries to win, they just try to set each other up for some face time on ESPN.

Whether or not you are a Larry Bird fan, one of the coolest moments in any All-Star weekend was his last shot in the 3-point comp. If he makes it he wins, he misses and he looses. He shoots, turns and walks off with his finger in the air BEFORE the ball makes it's descent...

Okay, well that's at least one event I'll pay attention to that weekend.

I haven't liked any single dunk contest since the last time jrich won, not even because I'm a warrior fan, because the best dunkers and creative dunkers aren't chosen anymore. And look at the dunks that have won and were rated very highly in the past dunk contests after jrich won his 2nd. Josh Smith won cause of pulling out a Nique jersey? Please his dunks were mediocre for a dunk contest. Nate Robinson wins cause he's short? That's complete bull, he's nothing more than a Ricky Davis stuck in a short mans body. Dwight Howard gets fans on his balls after he does his superman "dunk"? That wasn't a dunk that was like a ****ing tip in. And btw J-rich could of won his 3rd that one year against Fred Jones but that dunk contest was kinda boring cause all those misses...But imo Fred Jones didn't even deserve to be in the finals that year. This whole text to vote or nba.com to vote finals is dumb, of course people are gonna vote their favorite player even if they miss all their final round dunks so why give them any say? NBA Slam Dunk Contest is a complete joke now.

I haven't heard anything about it for this year but I'd like to see it.

As for the dunk contest, I'd like to see them set it up like a long jump event. Measure how far from the basket the players can dunk the ball. As Quazza mentioned it's all gimmicks now. Too silly to watch.
