It makes sense now why the Pacers did such a retarded trade, they were going after Corey Maggette. So Pacers added up and Clips going down. NIce/

I'm not sure what to think about this one. One the one hand, I heard an interview today with Donnie Walsh, Pacers GM, that no such deal is gonna happen. He said he spoke with Dunleavy Sr., and he was happy Jr. was going to Indy. You'd think, also, that if Magette for Dun was an option, the Warriors would have just made the trade themselves. So there's that side to it, but he kind of has to say that no matter what.
On the other hand - it makes a lot of sense. Perhaps the only way we were gonna move both Dun and Murph, was if we gave them both to Indy, with the understanding that Dun would be dealt to LA for Magette (who Indy has wanted all along). Maybe that's why the trade never went down between us and the Clips. Lotta ins, lotta outs. Basketball hope in the City Of Dope?

It's a possibility. Remember that the Pacers traded Artest to the Clips for Mags until Maggette failed his physical.
Still, I don't think it happens this season. Maybe the next offseason (that is, if Mags is still a Clipper), after they have taken a good look at what Dun can do for them (and I think he'll do better for Indy than for the W's. He won't have so much pressure there). |

Interesting and could happen. Granger is favoured as the starting SF so the Pacers likely won't want someone else there but Mags could be a great bench layer
