Of all the statistics, rebounds has the highest correlation between collegiate career and NBA career. I am surprised more teams don't pick up on that and draft guys like Milsap. It is also sad because we never really gave Lasme a chance and he could've been like that.

Look at Paul Milsap...and he's got offensive game. We're talking about rebounding and Millsap is also much heavier than 225 pounds
If you want an example of someone able to rebound better than anyone else, Dennis Rodman was only 6-8 and 225 lbs (as Pest pointed), and he's been one of the better rebounders of all time. It's not that hard to find examples of players able to do well with those conditions. Grabing boards is not only about weight and/or height. Look at Perovic, 7-2, 240 lbs and still unable to secure rebounds against smaller players.
Rodman is the one and only and has no comparison. I just think it will be hard for a young guy to come in at that size and rebound like that against much larger and talented opposition but you never know

Back in that era there was not the athletes and big beasts that there is now Also, Russell was listed at 6'10 and that was bigger than almost all players at the time
