Interesting poll question. Heh.

If we start this season 0-3, I won't be too disappointed. The Dubs have been in worse situations.

No, we always start out hot, then cool off. It's too early to make any assumptions, but losing to the Clips w/ Brand or Livingston is always worrying. If the Warriors start small again, they will get pounded. I hope B-Wright finally makes his debut and also has some sort of success on the glass.

You bet we start small. The better question is should we. I dont think that Pietrus deserves to start any more. He may be a good role player late in the game, but he is killing me with his fouls, and his crappy three pointers.

If we start small (and we probably will), we will get SLAUGHTERED. Brutally. Personally, it can't hurt trying something like this out:

Baron/Hudson
Azubuike/Ellis
Belinelli/Pietrus/Barnes
Biedrins/Harrington/Wright/Barnes
O'Bryant/Biedrins/Croshere

I see that as a nice lineup against the Jazz, to try at least as it gives two bigs and another outside bomber in Belinelli.

This looks very unlikley to be a win but if the team is to win, they have to play their own game, plain and simple

I do agree, although I doubt Nellie will try that. Maybe putting Al back in the starting lineup, but I don't see POB playing more than 15 minutes, much less starting.

Hence, Jazz by 16. And once again outrebounded by 18.

I predict another loss. Even when we go small Utah's guards still put up big numbers against the W's, which negates anything that Baron does. Guys like Brewer can't have big games!

When S-Jax comes back I would like to see him start at SG, and have BWright and Harrington play at the same time. Notorious POB needs to get some time tonight.

I’d test the combo of Dre and POB, as J-Pat brought up (but not POB starting). I actually mentioned this on a post a while back—our version of the running twin towers. But as TMC mentioned, I doubt Nelly tries it. But he really needs to open his eyes. Definitely, Al should start, and I’d find a way to get both B-Wright and especially Lasme in the game. Anyway, it can’t hurt to try, but definitely do something.

I agree with that lineup. On paper its obvious the flaws on the Warriors is rebounding and free throws and that lineup should help with the rebounding, as for the free throws am keeping my fingers crossed on that.

Am hoping we play the new bigs (B-Wright, and POB, even Crosher) on an experimental level just to see if they can help on the boards and alter shoots on the defensive end.

Key point of the game: Am no genuis but the am thinking the Warriors need to contain Boozer. I suggest a constant double team(allow the other Jazz players to beat us).

We need to go back to our roots,

Thats playing small ball like crazy, hitting down shots, and scoring off the fast breaks.

We cant stop Boozer or AK. So our best bet is too just outscore them. Lets start:

BD
Monta
Azu
Belinelli
Harrington

Score first, defense second.

I want: Warriors by 2
What will happen: Jazz by 14

In theory. The problem is that you can't outscore a team that has 20 possessions more than you have. We have to find a way to reduce the difference on the boards (not so much inside scoring. The rebounding is the problem) and start from there. If not, it's gonna be another loss, unless the team shoots around .800, which rarely happens.

No fricken way, man. I am all for going small, but Belinelli at power forward? Damn. They outrebound us so bad with us playing Biedrins and Pietrus. We would never grab a rebound with this lineup.

Keep in mind that we don't need everyone in the lineup to be able to run the fast break, only 2 at least. We will do better if Nellie plays actual bigs at PF and C.

My lineup:

Baron (He needs to step it up)
Belinelli (Get him some playing time), Monta (Backup)
Azubuike (Beastly)
Barnes or Harrington (Pietrus sucks)
Biedrins
