Finally heard this, his rhyme schemes were much more advanced back then. Here's a link:

Infinite is the debut album by hip-hop artist Eminem, recorded and produced with help from The Bass Brothers and fellow D12 member's Kon Artis, and Eye-Kyu in 1996. Infinite was only released on cassette and vinyl. Only 400 copies were made, though compact disc copies are commonly found on sites such as eBay. Eminem sold these tapes out of the trunk of his car in Detroit. The album is quite rare and cannot be found in stores. The song "Backstabber" is a re-cut version of a song called "Fuckin' Backstabber", which is featured on a demo tape by Soul Intent.

And the Slim Shady EP (not to be confused to the LP):

A lot of those songs appeared on his later albums interestingly enough. The Slim Shady EP is pretty average for eminem and it's pretty much the same as the LP. Infinite is very impressive though.

Can's stand Eminem, not even the old Eminem... I think I'll stick to Lyrics Born.

Lyrics Born is RAW. His personality is annoying, but he owns any mainstream rapper. The only thing I can't stand is that at his concerts he wastes so much time with gimmicks and hyping up the crowd. There's like 20 minutes in between each of his songs and around 5 encores, and he gives too many songs to his b*tch who can't sing.

The thing about LB is that he's a sick rapper, but his live band is atrocious.

Yeah, I've noticed that. I don't care much about his personality, and it's true the b*tch can't sing for sh*t (she'll probably do other things well, tho, just not sing  ). Still, Overnite Encore is the only album I've been listening to for the last two weeks. I'm that obsessive.

Still, this was an Eminem thread. Excuse my hijacking.

Great post, Pest. Thanks.

Yeah, I think the majority of mainstream rap artists were pretty decent when they were underground (Eminem, 50 Cent, Jay Z, Nas, obviously 2Pac). If anybody hasn't heard 50 Cent's "Power of the Dollar" album, I highly recommend it. If you don't wanna take the time to download the whole album, I'd recommend the following tracks:

"Ghetto Qu'ran"
"How To Rob" feat. Mad Rapper
"The Good Die Young"
"Material Girl 2000"
