thank you thank you, im glad you liked my "monsoon" nick reference. i liked "the count" that we've been hearing as well. i think what people have to do is go to games with signs with a nick of a player, and if it gets aired on tv, and the broadcasters like it and start calling him by that then it might stick. I remember when bob fitz started calling earl boykins the big E.

I don't think Monta needs a nickname. His name is good....its unique, it rolls off the tongue well, and it sounds cool as well. Just like Montana or Rice....thats all the name he needs.

If anything, they should have the banner in his section say "Ellis Island", because just like Ellis Island, Monta brings hope to the downtroden fans that the future will be better.

Just my 2 cents. 8)

I like 'Tay. Whatever happened to calling Andris Biedrins "Dre?"

Tay and Dre.

If Monta continues to have that killer instinct that Gilbert Arenas showed, "The Dagger" could really grow on me.

Another choice would be Montanegro...okay, that's bad.

I'll never use "The Dagger", purely because of that Lakers fan ass-clown that showed up here a year back and claimed JRich wasn't a star player (and never would be). He used that SN.
