This will be a true test of two differing styles of play. The Warriors will want to push the tempo while the Bulls would prefer this to be a half court game.
I think the Warriors will win tonight and here is why:
1. The Bulls are coming off back to backs and looked horrible against the Kings last night. 77 points scored.
2. The Bulls struggle about as bad on the road as the Warriors do.
3. After finishing the long road trip, the Warriors will be ready to play at home in front of their fans for the first time in 13 days. That will be motivation in and off itself.
4. The Bulls have NO inside presence to score the ball. While Ben Wallace is a good rebounder his inside scoring is not there. That being said, the Warriors should be able to play honest man-to-man defense on the shooters and slashers like Ben Gordon and Luol Deng.
5. Both of these teams are jump shooting teams. Neither has much on the inside although I would give the offensive edge to the Warriors with Biedrins and Harrington. If a game comes down to jump shooting, I like the home team because of familiarity with the floor and the home crowd.
One other note, this game will be nationally televised on ESPN. Let's hope the Warriors can show the nation what they are all about in a good way! Warriors by eleven tonight.
