Trading for a stiff like Nazr and his big contract has me worried. We will not lose because we score a couple less buckets and let Foyle play 5-10 minutes per game to keep the minutes and toil down for our only two bigs in Harrington and Biedrins. Ellis is not going anywhere, and I would only trade a player like Pietrus (contract year), or Mr. Jail time (Jackson), or veteran minimum (Barnes) for a proven big like P.J. Brown for a second or future top 10 protected 1st rounder 2008. We may or may not make the playoffs but the healthy starting lineup of Biedrins, Harrington, Jackson or J-Rich, Ellis and BD is long, quick and devestating for the defensively challenged and talent deprived teams like the Laker beating Bobcats.

A Nazr Mohammad trade wont happen.

1) He's not a Nelson-player. Anybody Mullin looks to aquire needs to fit the Nelson system. Even if Nelson's no longer the coach in a few years, Mullin's looking to keep the running game (its the way of the future... and its working with out core).

2) There's no advantage to Golden State in a Nazr-trade, no matter how you swing it. Even if they take Foyle for him, straight up, we're getting (virtually) the same player back, with more money and more years on his check. Giving up young wingmen for him would be useless (see above). Mullin won't trade Harrington, plus Nelson loves Biedrins and O'Bryant.

Don't sweat a Nazr trade. Its just rumors (mostly from Detroit's fans).

Your Foyle Love dies hard...gotta respect it though. Way I see it now is every team has one bad contract so i can handle Foyle's ineptitude, but when we had 3 of them i couldnt stand it.

Play Foyle!......until we get a decent backup!!!!

I'm not a big fan of Foyle's contract but Foyle gives us a smaller Mutumbo presence... I don't mind Foyle playing several minutes here and there because he doesn't shoot that much and he is a very good defensive player. Just don't pass it to him on offense!

Foyle is a decent backup. Just not a starter.

Just like the warriors up until Murphs and MDJs trade.

Def play Foyle more if even to spell AB, and keep him out of foul trouble.

Foyle's playing alright this season (2nd in blocks per 48). But I wouldn't give him more than 15 a night, consistently.
