If Pietrus is healthy, I actually don't expect to see much out of Jackson this year.
Who said Jackson is a better defender?? I beg to differ. I've seen Mikael shut down many-a-NBA players since he's been here.

Haven't look that up, but I guess the comparison was between Jackson and Dun... |

Jackson is just as good of a defender as Pietrus. The only difference is that Jackson has better handles (so he slashes more often) and can hit his 3-pointer from anywhere beyond the arc (unlike Pietrus, whose only shot is from the corner).
Pietrus (this year) seems to be a better rebounder than Jackson, but that's about it. ![]() GOLDEN STATE WARRIORS DIE HARD ![]() ![]() |

Pssssshh... There is no comparison between Jackson and Dunleavy. Dun was waaaay too soft. I think we went from one extreme to another. Dun = Soft as a marshmellow Jackson = almost too, hardcore, borderline Suge Knight crazy! |
which is exactly what this soft-ass team needs...they lost 2 of the softest players in the league and got back 2 hardasses - good move To Live is A Value Judgment - Albert Camus

i am one of the handful of pacer fans that actually likes jack, he is the toughest player on your team. he could have a broken leg and still try to play. don't beleive the stuff about him being a headcase. we had artest on our team, we should know what a true headcase is. jack has made his mistakes, but i feel he is learning from them. according to the rest of the team he is a great teammate. he may have a spat here and there with someone because he seems to not want to back down from anything/anyone, but maybe that's how he got where he is today (sucsessful and unsusessful senarios included). good luck with your team and congratulations on the trade
man, i hope diogu turns out to be something.

I can't say much for the prospects of Murphy nor Dunleavy doing too much for you guys; however, Diogu should develop into a good player. With Jermaine on the low block, Murphy will, however, get some open looks on the perimeter. I love Stephen Jackson and the toughness that he will bring to this soft Warrior team. |

that would be nice, stats don't say alot because of double-teams and stuff, i did check out some murphy highlights, but is he a decent long range shooter? j.o. hasn't had a decent post partner since brad miller left. |

Pretty much his entire offensive game is perimeter.

It's nice to read something like that from a Pacer's fan, David. Don't worry about Ike. He's going to be a monster for the Pacers with time (that is, if they play him). In fact, I'm pretty sure they wouldn't have made the trade without Ike being part of it. What you should worry about are the contracts of Murphy and Dun. I still cannot believe the Pacers traded for the two worst contracts of the NBA... together.
Yeah, maybe too much. He's a good shooter (and a decent rebounder, although I think he's a bit overrated there. I guess he may grab around 7-8 boards per game in Indy)... just don't expect him to post up or defend. |

Sound's about right David Dunn, Thanx. There's a good interview on KNBR.com on the Fitz & Brooks show with Stephen Jackson, Also there's interviews with AL, Mullin & Nellie on the Razor & Mr. T Show.

I like this trade, I have to say GREAT WORK WARRIORS!
We finally dumped 2 bad contracts, even though we had to give up Diogu, I still think it is worth it!!! (might be becuz I dun like Diogu... he reminds me of Fat Albert... lol) I think Al Harrington should be a pretty good addition. Even if hes not, I am sure he will do better than Dunleavy/Murphy (Diogu didnt even get much playing time). As for Jaxon, I think hes a player. Even though he got some baggages on him, I stil welcome him. and we finally got a 3pt shooting specialist in Sarunas!!! Yes!!! He should be a decent backup!!!! Overall, I think this is a good trade. Now, Foyle is next! |

If Mullin can move dunleavy he can move Foyle if he really wants. But Foyle might fit in now, um...nevermind, lets trade him for cap space so we can give Biedrins his money. I say a package with Pietrus would be easiest way to get him out the door. But im not gonna complain much not after this trade. |
