Last night the Warriors played 2 different halves against the Orlando Magic.Unfortunately, they played the 2nd half worse than the ist half, with the end result becoming the Magic's 5th straight win(91-76 over the Warriors).

The Warrriors shot just 25% in the 2nd half, after shooting 55% in the ist half.It comes as no surprise that 21 year old superstar Dwight Howard had his season high with 30 points and 25 rebounds. What becomes a major surprise in this game; is something you never would have counted on before this game was played.Trevor Ariza was injured twice in this game. Both times it happened in the last 1 minute of the ist half. This allowed Keith Bogans and Keyon Dooling to play more minutes.Dooling would hit 3 trays in the 4th quarter, including 11 points in the 4th quarter to finish with 13 points on the night.Keith Bogans had his season high with 16 points, with 11 points coming in the 2nd half.

The Magic started the 4th quarter leading 62-57,but 3 trays by Dooling and 5 points by Bogans gave the Warriors a 73-61 lead with 9:05 left in the 4th quarter.Dwight Howard took matters into his own hands controlling the boards for the rest of the game.Howard scored 9 points in the 4th quarter to finish with his 30 points. The Magic were playing without Hedo Turkoglu and received poor shooting from Darko Milicic and Grant Hill,(3-17 combined)but Howard,Bogans and Dooling shined like stars.

In the ist quarter the Warriors committed 10 turnovers,5 by Baron Davis.Orlando closed out a 12-3 run at the end of the ist quarter to take a 24-18 lead after the ist quarter. The Warriors shot 50% in the ist quarter, whle Orlando shot just 37%.

In the 2nd quarter Biedrins picked up his 3rd foul with 10:52 left in the 2nd quarter, but the Warriors did not pay for Biedrins foul problems.Orlando was still holding a 35-30 lead with 5:52 left in the 2nd quarter, due to 11-4 2nd chance points which favored the Magic.

Thw Warriors got the momentum back in the game when Matt Barnes hit a breakaway layup and Kelenna Azubuike hit a tray to give the Warriors a 39-35 lead with 3:57 left in the 2nd quarter. The Warriors closed out the 2nd quarter on a 17-7 run to take a 47-42 lead at the half,in spite of the Magic crashing for 12 offensive boards in the ist half. The Magic would only shoot 9-20 from the free throw line in the ist half. The Warriors shot 55% for the half.

The Warriors could only score 10 points in the 3rd quarter, while Orlando scored 20 points.Howard and Bogans combined for 14 points in the 3rd quarter and the Warriors went-3 when Biedrins picked up his 4th foul and was removed with 4:20 left in the 3rd quarter. After the 3rd quarter both teams were now shooting 37%.

When it's all said and done it will be very difficult for the Magic to reach the Eastern finals unless they start hitting their free throws. If you stop the Magic from getting too many offensive rebounds and try and play a opened court game against them, you have a good chance to beat them. The Warriors did beat them at Orlando.

The Warriors must quickly forget this game and think about beating the Heat and sweeping the Clippers.Tht would be a nice dosage of penicillin.
