If ever there was a chip shot in the NBA, this is it. The 76ers got absolutely nothing in return for AI. This was like the Vince Carter trade.

Warriors should ream the Sixers by 10+.

It's true, the Sixers got nothing immediate from this trade, but if I were a Philly fan I'd actually be pretty happy with this trade. Rather than get some quasi-star with a big contract, they get HUGE salary cap relief, and 3, yes THREE, first round draft picks this offseason. For a team in need of rebuilding, you need to have the cap flexibility to sign a solid player or two, plus a stockpile of picks in the draft, which is exactly what the Sixers have now. There is no sport other than basketball where a team's draft can have a more immediate impact on the success of the team. To call this like the Vince trade seems a little short-sighted.

But anyways, the Sixers have been left in a bad spot for this season, and probably the next two as well. At home, this game should be no problem.

I completely agree; the trade was a miracle for Philly. But, as I've said before, Denver will reap the short-term bennefits... and Philly will take the long-term ones. It's been less than a week. Long term is still a helluva ways away. And, in the meantime, the only thing Philly will need is plenty of lube.

I agree baytobrooklyn, the 76ers should be happy because they got cap relief and two 1st rounders. They are set at PG as well with Andre Miller.

This should be a relatively easy game but the sixers playes well last game with Webber back and could rise up.

The Warriors shouldn't lose this one. This game is a given. If they lose, I'll blame it on all the food they ate.

Philly seems to be playing better now than before the trade (and it's not losing AI. They were playing awful bball without AI before the trade, but have won a couple of tough games after it).

I don't think it will be as easy as everybody expects. Anyway, the W's can and should win.

This really should be easy. Beating the Celtics and the Knicks doesn't prove much. Sixers are crap and they are probably even crap on purpose. W by 17
