With the migration of AI to the already powerful West, has there ever been more disparity in overall strength between the 2 conferences? Your thoughts?

I'm sure it's a cycle. It's just that the west is much more competitive right now, but it won't last forever.

In fact, this very same situation happened when MJ retired (I mean, the second time he retired). The east had a couple of decent teams (like Indy), but overall was a joke. If I'm not wrong the term "leastern" comes from that time (or at least that was the first time I heard it).

The Eastern Conference is a joke. The Warriors would be a 5th or 6th seed over there. JV, indeed.

The East is poor. The Warriors would rule the Atlantic Division if they were there. Making the Eastern Conference Finals would never suprise me if they made it there.
