Those Dickwads in houston totally screw up the allstar voting. Not that it matters since he won't make the team but how the hell did shane battier get so many votes? Did he have a 93 point game that I missed? Houston fans have always gave their players too many votes.

Yes i agree. I say votes from Chinese should only count for one fourth (1/4) a whole vote.
American Chinese count for 1/2 a vote. That'll even things up. |
|
How do J. Stackhouse, Terry, Manu Ginobli, Tony Parker deserve to be all-stars in front of Baron?
|

Biedrins is not even on the ballot. Truthfully (if you count people like Duncan and Stoudamire as PFs and Dre as a C) he's the second best center in the West. Possible exception for Camby.

Yeah and what's even more stupid is guys like Francisco Elson are on the list. This is what I hate about the all star game. It's always lil kids going nuts, including China, voting for "the best player" at that position. I'd like to see the day where the proven players deserve a spot.

Hopefully this last game gives Baron a boost.

Quite wrong that Biedrins is not there and Baron is not polling high!

ha, what about Chris Mihm getting votes, wtf is that all about, he hasnt played a minute all season and isnt going to.

Yep. I've always thought that internet vote shouldn't be allowed. And players should have played a certain number of games to be voted. How can Gasol hava 100,192 votes without having played a single game this season?
|

Not bad ratings here, except for Grant Hill who has just not done enough to be allstar this season. It should be Lebron, Bosh, Okafor (who could be listed as Center as well), Jermaine (who also could be listed as Center as well) and Pierce. Rasheed may make it but Jamison should be up there as well
Joe Johnson and Red should be much higher and Marbury and Francis should be nowhere to be found! The rest of the list is right, the order can be argued on
Jermaine and Okafor should be counted as Centers as well. Shaq should not even be listed! Krstic and Dwight should be the top Centers out of this bunch listed
Boozer not getting any respect! Battier just hasn't done anywhere near enough and Gasol hasn't even played a game! I'm al for Carmelo starting because he has been awesome. No Elton Brand is also an insult!
Baron and Allen get no respect here! Nash, Kobe and TMac (could also be listed as SF) are the only sure things out of the rest listed. Deron Williams should be mentioned at least as should Monta!
Just stupid that Biedrins is not only not listed, but ranked third at worst here! Ming, Amare, Camby and Biedrins best Centers for me ![]() ![]() migya make the ring fall on ya |

Biedrins is not on the Ballot, migya. That means he won't get the votes he deserves. This whole process of votes for the all star is laughable. I don't even watch the all star anymore. It's more like a circus than a bball game (I mean, even more than before). |
|
It doesn't really matter that he's not on the ballot I guess. Yao is far away the best center and should start and the ballots are only about who is starting anyway. Still it showcases a (not exactly surprising) lack of respect for the dubs and their players |
|

The Warriors don't get enough media attention. They need to just keep winning to get more exposure. I remember last (or two years ago?) DAVID WESLEY was ahead of Jason Richardson for the all-star game. It was ridiculous. And don't worry about BD: if he keeps playing like a MVP candidiate the coaches will definitely reward him and make him a reserve at least.
|
|
Yeah, well, you can still vote for him. Just look for his name in the box below... but the casual fan won't do that, as most well known players are in the ballot. Actually, most casual fans won't ever have heard of Biedrins. And I'm pretty sure most votes come from those fans. |
