I like Dunleavy. I don't like the fact that he is making 10 million a season for the next three or four seasons, but if he can play effectively off the bench the way he has the last two weeks, he will be a nice part of this team.

In the past couple of seasons he has been inconsistent to say the least, but I think Nellie, like always, is getting the most out of Dunleavy right now in the role he is playing. He is not perfect and the contract is high, but Dun is showing he deserves to be in the rotation and a part of this team's success.

Um, let me think... NO

And if anyone says he likes him, there are only three possibilities:

A.- They haven't seen him play.
B.- They're not Warrior fans.
C.- They're relatives. (Like pawno, who is Dun's mother  )

If you take a look at some older threads, you'll see what most people think about Dumbleavy (btw, welcome to the board).

I like the guy in an off the bench role but not as a starter. He plays hard and knows he isn't perfect which is all you can ask for from a player as far as effort goes.

I wish he didn't make so much. But overall he is okay in my book.

I'll change my tune after he has 20 good games in a row where he doesn't hurt the team.

Last night vs. the Spurs was game #1. 19 more to go before I say he's acceptable. Until then... he sucks asss.

Kinda the same story as with Foyle for me. If he was a second rounder making a mill or two a year he'd be high on my list. I will say I like him a lot when he plays well. I still think he has the tools necessary to be a good player in this league. No allstar but a decent player. He just needs to get his ****ing head straight. He was one of our best against the Spurs and he tends to have like 6-7 such games every season. I really do want him to succeed though so I gotta say I like him. The mistakes are mostly Mully's.

Not as a pampered, media-sucked, over-minuted, excuse-made-for, bitching and blaming his teammates, shot-bricking, turnover-spurting, grossly-overpaid #3 bust. As a humble, chastened utility player, yes...I want a season like he's been the past few games and then I'll say yes, and by the way, he looks worse than his stats if you watch him live at the game...let's ask Don Nelson about the fans booing him: ""A lot of it is his own fault," said Nelson. "He needs to step up and do more, get tougher. I mean, I have the same problem the fans do. I'm not booing (laughter), but I'm thinking that way. Like, if he's got a mismatch down low, he might not do anything about it -- that sort of thing. I'm on him a lot, because he's our team captain, and there are times when he needs to be dominant."

Mike Dunleavy Jr is, quite possibly, the 2nd most hated sports figure in the Bay Area (behind Armando Bennitez). I can't imagine anybody still liking the poor slob. We all hope for the best... but hope is one thing and reality is another.

I don't like Dunleavy. But I do like what he does coming off the bench. The only bad game I really saw from him off the bench was the Utah game. Other than that, he's successfully doing his new role.

As "a pampered, media-sucked, over-minuted, excuse-made-for, bitching and blaming his teammates, shot-bricking, turnover-spurting, grossly-overpaid #3 bust", he sucks.

As a player who can positively impact this years team, I applaud his coming off the bench and contributing effort. Is it value? no. Doesn't matter, it is sunk cost. At least now, he makes this team better.
