I just had a bad feeling the way the game got started. We doubled Melo in the first and were somewhat effective, but he was kicking the rock out and others made the open shots/layups. Of course, the main difference was FT and especially turnovers (we just played very sloppily), and those guys just capitalized and just didn’t seem to miss. Our D was just nonexistent, and we greatly missed Baron (our penetrator) to get them in foul trouble and control the tempo/disrupt their fast flow. That was one game where we really needed to slow them down while giving ourselves a chance to win in the end.

while we shot badly from the line and they shot well, we only missed two more free throws than them, and even if we shot 100% from the line we still would have won

Not quite sure I follow you here, Pest. On FT we were 15-24 (62%) while the Nugs were 28-35 (80%). Not two more.
