The Pistons are not what they used to be without Ben Wallace, far from it. I watched the game between the Pistons and the Kings last Tuesday and I was totally surprised how bad they performed. It was not like the Kings were doing a good job defensively. The Warriors will get over .500 for the first time this season.

The Pistons are still a great team and they feast on teams that don't play much defense. If JRich and/or Diogu don't play. Rebounding against the Pistons is a must ![]() ![]() migya make the ring fall on ya |

I think it is too early in the season to say the Pistons are FAR from where they used to be. They are trying to gel with new guys and it takes a while, but unless Rasheed gets tossed - who is going to stop him? Troy?
Plus, do you see Billups letting Baron light him up like Paul couldn't prevent? Hopefully, like an earlier post said, the Pistons beat the Lakers after a hard fought, double overtime game and we can run them out the building when they see us tomorrow. Go Pistons! Beat LA! 11 years of no playoffs and counting...

looks like ike and jrich won't play, so Ws get owned on the boards - this may be a game we see some adonal, since at least he can get a few boards and the pistons don't run

They weren't the same team last season after Larry Brown left... This year, after losing Big Ben, they'll be even worse. They are trying to adapt to other style, but, as you said, that takes time.
I just said that I don't consider a them a contender for the title anymore. A good team?, damn sure they are... but far from the team they were. |

This might be the key to our success in this game. Run the crap outta them, they'll be tired win or lose from LA last night. |

agreed - Monta. Baron and Pietrus need to push the hell out of the tempo - if the game is in the 110s the Ws win, in the 90s, Pistons, in the 100s it goes down to the last shot To Live is A Value Judgment - Albert Camus
