this is going to be a tough game. Back-to-back on the road after an emotional win. BD played all 48 minutes last night, we're going to need the bench tonight to win. Does Wagner get activated tonight?

Hopefully this game is as fun to watch as last night's game. The matchups are nice, but Peja is not the same player he was.

He should; especially with Ellis' drop last night at the hands of Jason Terry. Who knows if he's 100% or not. Baron shouldn't play 40 minutes tonight, Ellis may be limited as well, and Roberson/McCloud haven't proven anything. Wagner would be the surest option. At least he's proven he can score. ![]() GOLDEN STATE WARRIORS DIE HARD ![]() ![]() |

I'll be real interested to see how the Warriors play tonight. It would be nice to think they'd have momentum coming off the Dallas game, but playing Dallas has proved to be an anomoly compared to their usual play the last couple of seasons. If they can pull one out tonight, it could be a very good sign of things to come. Either way, I see them losing tonight and winning the next NOK game at home.

Peja is capable of going off for 30 just on outside shots! The team better have him covered because he can easily be a difference maker ![]() ![]() migya make the ring fall on ya |

Good call Migya - he's already 3 for 3 on 3's in the first quarter. Off to a bad start yet again. Already down by 12. Ugh.

Close game! Dun and Murphy should be shot with such a performance!
Diogu showed that in half the court time that Murphy got, he is more effective! 8 rebounds and 1 block to Murphy's 0 rebounds! and 0 blocks, Murphy has been an insignificant rebounder this season so far. Pietrus injured? He didn't play. Ellis showed he was great and he should get more court time! Diogu likewise! Team would have won the game if Diogu had played more! Biedrins a defensive giant - 6 blocks! Team should be hungry to win against them here in Oakland Last edited by migya on Tue Nov 07, 2006 9:48 pm, edited 1 time in total.

Hopefully Pietrus and Diogu are not seriously injured. Pietrus would have been good to guard Peja

Tough loss. The dub's almost pulled this one out. They played a real gutsy game, seeing as how they were obviously tired, and Peitrus was out with an ankle sprain, and Ike went out in the first half with the same thing.
Someone on this board said people are bitching about turnovers too much - but I can't stress that point enough. Anyone who doesn't think turnovers are a problem for this team is blind. What was it - 15, 16 tonight? That last pass that Monta threw away - down by 2 with less than a minute to go - pretty much sealed the game. A few less turnovers, and the game is ours. Nevertheless, the Dub's battled back from a 14 point deficit and showed some fight toinght. I'm nowhere near as distraught as I was after the Utah loss. Basketball hope in the City Of Dope?

This game was hard fought. They came back but in the end made mistakes and couldn't capitalize back on it. Tough, yes. Roberson played well for the first time this year, though I was wondering what Nelson was thinking or anyone having Roberson taking the potential game tying shot. Was it to catch the Hornets off by suprise? Because it didn't work. But there were positives such as the Warriors feeding Biedrins after they drew out defenders off Andris. He finished well under the basket. They also executed well on the fast break. So overall, the Warriors did well, they just didn't finish up on their errors in the clutch.

I'm proud of our team even in this loss - much better than the loss to Utah. I think Hornets are a damn good squad - not really any glaring weakness in the starting five, bench isn't too deep though. Gues Peja can still shoot - especially when he gets all those clean looks.
Back to backs are tough and they had the home opener thing going - so almost winning is good for us - it will give team confidence, especially if we beat them at home. Before the season began we talked about which young gun would have a breakout year - looks like right now it is a race between Andris and Monte - hopefully they both do. 11 years of no playoffs and counting...
