everybody played well. Watching dunleavy, he made no mistakes, he was a complete neutral effect on the game. I have no problem with that if he can keep it up........monta looks great......ike does too.....Goddamn, murph is going into valuev/rambis land in terms of uglyness........2 boards from a power forward. Dunleavy? no. Murphy. who'da guessed?.......
About like I called it - Dun with 14 and Zach with 22 (i said 15 and 25).
3 best things about tonights game -
1. Baron with 9 assists with 0 turnovers - that's mastery of the pg position
2. Seeing all our young guys blossom - very impressive
3. They were having fun - it was beautiful to see and will lead to more wins!

The biggest thing this game was defense. By far. Golden State looked like an above-average defensive squad today. It was gorgeous... and resulted in over 30 fast break points.
Nelly's got the entire team rebounding. Save for Barnes (who played less than a minute), every player on the team grabbed a rebound. Amazing.
Having 6 guys in double figures doesn't hurt, either.

Which is the best we can expect from him... I agree. If he can keep playing like that the whole season, it will be enough for me.
But won't happen. Remember I told you he always plays well against the Blazers. He'll probably get back to his old self against Utah.
Notes: Murphy is trying to find the right mask to protect his nose as it heals. The clear plastic one he wore Wednesday and again Friday has been slipping around some on his face and also affects his peripheral vision. He received several new versions to try Friday but wants to wear them in practice first to see how they work. And once his nose is healthy again later this month or in early December, Murphy said he will ``smash them, put them under my car and run over them, or maybe a hook shot off the Bay Bridge on my way home.''
I figured this must have been the case. Once he gets that bl**dy mask off his scon I'm sure his numbers will improve.

WOW TMC - Dunhating comes so easily to you. He had a decent game last night - why not focus on the positive? As for how he will play against the rest of the league - Could it be that with Nelly's coaching, Baron trying to be more of a pure PG and Dun's new responsibilities it will all translate into him IMPROVING finally? I don't know but I'm going to assume yes until he shows me that it won't. Gonna give the guy a chance. It's a new year! Anything can happen.

I know. I feel dirty right now...

I admit I'm biased against him, so my opinion doesn't hold much weight. As far as I'm concerned, he's going to suck until he wins the regular season MVP.

I'm just tired of waiting. He's been making excuses (some valid, others not much) since he was drafted. First, he was a rookie, after that, it was his first year starting, then the coaches not knowing how to play him... give me a break and play some basketball, for god's sake...
Oh, well. I'm a Dun-hater, so take that last paragraph with a grain of salt...
I'd agree that he has given us all plenty of reason!
