Maybe for you it may be early but hey, it's never too early to talk about the future. Yeah, it may only be the preseason but if Baron consistently plays the way he is playing now, do you think he'll be an MVP candidate?

ummm, no.

Baron is good but he would have to be better than ever to get anywhere near MVP

I wouldn't rule it out
The Broe Knows Dont Hate....

No. He may be a candidate for the all star game... maybe even starter in the all star if he plays up to his potential. But he won't beat Lebron or Kobe for the MVP. I wouldn't rule out a few MVP of the month awards, tho, but I can't see him winning MVP of the whole regular season. |

Baron could get it... but he won't meet the required game. dudes always injured

You never know. Steve Nash won the last 2 MVP awards and Baron has more talent than Nash, IMO. If he stays healthy, and the Warriors make the playoffs he may be right up there.

How can Baron be MVP or the league when he's not even MVP of his own team? *cough, JRich, cough*
Besides, I (like Nelly) don't believe Baron can play 40 minutes a night anymore. He seems fragile. He'll probably have more of a Shaquille O'Neal role this year: he'll play just enough to keep us winning, but not much more than that. ![]() GOLDEN STATE WARRIORS DIE HARD ![]() ![]() |

BD will never be MVP.

With the way Nelson is running this team, BD will probably get injured before the All Star break.
He can be MVP if he brings this team to the playoffs and avoids any major injuries. |
|
Hopefully now that Baron is in shape he will avoid his injuries! MVP is out of reach for him though.

I dunno if I'd go that far. Baron was just an assist away from Steve Nash last year. If he can get Golden State to the playoffs with (virtually) the same roster, he could be a candidate. Especially if he has a better season than last year (21 PPG, 9.5 APG, and 5 RPG). Those are MVP numbers. ![]() GOLDEN STATE WARRIORS DIE HARD ![]() ![]() |

He might be a contender some day if the team he's on is good, but I doubt it unless he steps his game up a notch

I think he have a chance if he dont get injure and the warriors make it to the playoff
