I received word that there is a virus going around e-mails. If you receive an e-mail along the lines saying "Pictures of Osama Bin Laden Capture or Hanged" or so, do not open or it will crash your computer immediately and you will not be able to fix it. Delete it or report it or whatever you must. Just do not open it. An e-mail is being sent around that is warning people not to open it mainly around America and the Middle East area.

Just giving y'all a heads up.

Great, then I'm safe... :mrgreen:

I don't open anything that comes from people I don't know, and even in that case, I don't open anything with the extensions .exe or .pps. With these few guidelines, you're pretty safe.

I get the occasional pps file from mates that are are very interesting to look at :mrgreen:

Yeah, those should be ok... as long as you know who sends them. But a virus can enter that way, too... so I'd be wary with them.

I only open stuff from people I know. I do have Norton Antivirus
