It seems the Nuggets cruised to victory over Efes Pilsen. We had better crush them.

Well the way NBA teams have handled the European teams as of lately, 20 may be a bit of a reach. The Clippers and Sixers already lost to European teams. The NBA teams that have won have had an average margin of 10 or lower.
Don't hate yourself in the morning... sleep 'til noon.

There wouldn't be much defense to the turkey team is there

Efes is just an average european team. They're dangerous at home, but mostly due to their fans... We should win easily, by 15-20 points. They are good enough to be competitive in the euroleague, but can't be compared with Barcelona of CSKA. Should be an easy game.
btw, Marcus Haislip plays for Efes (or at least he did last year, I haven't checked their roster for this one). I've always thought that he was good enough to be on a NBA roster... |

Is this game gonna be on TV?

I'm pretty sure there will be a torrent sooner or later, in case it's not televised... I'm also really interested to see the new Warriors.

GS is not going to crush this team without JR! This is a European team that has made the finals of their league twice!
With the way the W's scrimmaged they have alot of work to do! No amount of work (coaching) can offset a player's ability to make open shots i.e. Murph and Dun's combined 4 for 12 from the field and 0 for 3 from the three! Mullin drafted and made team whose strength was attacking the basket not making 3pt shots or jumpers! Mullin ....ed up again by trading away his best jumpshooter and FT shooter, even though he made up for it in Wagner and it was cost effective... I think the W's might have a difficult time tomm at home against this team. The W's have not played together enough as a team and during the scrimmage Nellie pointed out that alot of the guys went back to playing how they played last year! |

In fact, they have won their leage 12 times, but it should be noted that there are only two good teams in the Turkish league... it's much easier to make the finals that way. |

I dont know too much about the team from Turkey, but if there anything like most team that plays basketball in Euro ,then we will see a lot of outside jumpers put up. The warriors have to make sure they guard the perimeter in stay infront of their man, and dont allow them to get a good look from the outside. Most Euro teams dont have a point guard or a two guard who can penatrate and take it to the basket. The rely on outside shots and most of the time if there open you can count it. The defense has to be good or the warriors will lose, especially ,if the blue team which consist of, Baron, Mike, Troy, D.Wagner, and Pietrus dont come out and establish themselves right away. We will see!!!!!!!!!!

I'll be happy if the boys take it to the basket and run alot! That is what they are supposed to be doing with Nelson from now on. The shooting will come with more cohesive play, including dun and Murphy

The Nelson-fueled Warriors will run right through them. They're merely pigs to the slaughter.

That's a bit hard... but that should be the idea. |

Golden State needs to make a statement tonight... and they know it.
Baron Davis will be more energetic than ever (and take more controlled shots), Dajuan Wagner will raise some eyebrows in the doubters, Mickael Pietrus will be one of the Top 3 scorers, and Murphy will prove to be more servicable at center than previously thought (although, I'll admit, being his first attempt against other humanoids, it may not be as smooth as the final product will be this season). Count on it. ![]() GOLDEN STATE WARRIORS DIE HARD ![]() ![]() |

They've just got to run the plays that Nelson has for them. Following instructions and getting a grasp for Nelson's coaching is the #1 thing because things will obviously improve with time
