If Larry Brown is a better coach, the Pistons would have won more games with him than with Flip. Flip just gets alot of heat for not taking the TWolves further in the playoffs but look at them now, they aren't even in the playoffs anymore

Well, Minny has a way worse roster now than when Flip was there. And he was fired for not getting them to the playoffs during his last season there... also, that Detroit team would play the same way without a coach. The team was already done when he went there.

Just my two cents, tho. This year they may win it all and I'd be forced to change my point of view.

JP & broe got the biggest sigs on the site.

I think it's his avatar, it stretches out the avatar space. Still thinking about changing the sig though.

With a roster created by Joe Dumars and previously coached by Larry Brown. A team with no changes since his championship year, playing in the East, which, like it or not, is the lesser conference... They were bound to have a great season even if Monty were the coach.

Everything else made sense, but you lost me on that last part.

Why?. The team was already made, they know how to play, the roster is composed of seasoned vets, they have no rookies to grow... He wouldn't have to do anything, just stay on the bench looking like the coach.

A team like Detroit, sure. Larry Brown was still the coach of the Pistons even while with NY.

Even that part's too hard for Monty.

Does anybody else remember when Monty was hard at work examining the stain on his tie... in the middle of a 4th quarter, 3-point game?!?!

Too many times I glance over at the bench and Elie is standing up, yelling at the players while Monty is sitting there.

Thanks again, Chris! :D

Yep you got the right, with Nelly and Elie yelling at the players they should get a kick in the arse.

Yeah, Elie compliments Nelly in the exact same way that Avery Johnson used to. I just hope those rumors that they haven't settled their fall-out from the Run TMC aren't true...

Ellie should've grabbed that tie and wrapped it around the old fart's neck!

I just can't believe it took Cohan THIS LONG to finally crack on that guy.

Litterally, it took Chris Mullin miraculously pulling Don Nelson out of his ass to get Cohan's cheap fists to let go of Mike Montgomery.

God, we need another owner.
