agreed, but monty wasn't the longterm solution now. I can't believe when warriors fans start talking about "longterm solutions". We need a short term solution=playoffs ASAP. Now while I'm not open to ruining our future for one first round playoff exit (monty) what do we have to lose by getting rid of one of the five worst coaches in the league for a three time COY? We won't win a ring with him but teams that have 12 losing seasons in a row generally don't win a ring a couple years later

Imagine the disappointment if the team makes the playoffs for the next two seasons and then doesn't make it the season after. The real fans want at least 5 seasons straight of making the playoffs because it has been so many years of not making it

Well with Montgomery jumping from college to NBA is one helluva jump. He coached 25+ years in college and was already buliding a career there. He was making a legacy, but when he decided that he was "good" enough to coach in a much higher level, he jumped to the pros and coached a team that hasn't made the playoffs in 12-13 years. Montgomery should've stayed in college.

Anyway, yeah, the Warriors need 5-6 straight years of the postseason because no other fans but Warrior fans deserve the playoffs. These people support their team every night and the playoffs in the bay area would mean so much to them as to me also and all other Warrior fans on this board.
