Jared Jefferies just sent the Wizards an offer sheet to match the 5-year, 30 million dollar contract the New York Knicks are willing to give him!

Well, to be honest, if he wanted to get Jeffries, that's the kind of offer he should do. The Wiz would be crazy to match that. If Jeffries is worth that much is a different matter. He isn't. Actually, he ain't worth half that. |

That's what I'm saying... Isaiah is cranking out another bad, long-term contract to hogtie the Knicks with! After he gets his walking slip from NY, they'll be so handicapped from all his deals that he'ss probably be the one who has the last laugh.

yea, isiah is an idiot. as long as he aint making the warriors look bad im jus fine. knicks can stink up the place for all i care even if they have a legendary arena.

It's too bad Zeke isn't employed by the Kings or the Lakers. He'd be great if he was working his magic on another team in our conference... imagine how thrilled the Atlantic division is with him!

Yeah. Grunfeld has been one of my favorite GMs like... ever. But if he decides to match this... Jeffries ain't worth that much. He's just an ok defensive player, a role player that shouldn't start for any team.

Agreed. His athleticism makes him a fine backup, but he has no skill.

Ernie Grunfeld still has some common sense. The Wizards are not matching Jeffries' contract, instead signing Deshawn Stevenson for to a minimun contract.
Which means another great move by Isiah. I think it's time we offer him Pietrus for Frye and see what happens. |

Now granted I didn't watch a single knicks game last year (who would? ) but Frye basically seems like what diogu would be if he were 6'11 and got more PT. And frye has a better 3p% than dunleavy
