I was browsing hoopshype earlier and I noticed that there is the possibility that the management is shopping Baron Davis?! (Allen Iverson is mentioned too). Any possibility that management could be secreting brewing up a trade for BD? And for who? If possible what do you guys think we could get for him?

I don't know who would want him with his contract and his injuries (mostly his injuries). I don't think he's going anywhere.

I've kinda backed away from following trades so much after the Harrington deal fell through on our part...but with the possibility of BD departing the Bay Area, this would be something interesting to debate about. I would hate to see him go like Murphy, since I feel he should be given one more shot to bring the team to a playoff status.

A BD-for-Iverson swap would mean death for the Warrior franchise. Iverson would get us to the first-round... and then we'd commence to tank, like the Sixers currently are. I hope we give BD another year...

We'll anyways, I hope that the possiblity of BD on the market is bs, having arguably the most entertaining backcourt in the nba and a booming Ike Diogu is something I'm dying to see. And the new schedule for the 06-07 year came out, seems like the team is playing 16 out of the first 23 games at home. Seems eerily similar to last year. They were 12-6 by the end of November and just tanked after 06 came around. What needs to change in order for them to consistently keep the wins up by the end of 06?

Their ability to finish in the fourth quarter. The Warriors (in more than half the games they lost) were never completely left in the dust; they blew leads and/or made too many costly mistakes that allow the opposition to capitalize (free throws, melting defense, ect). If the Warriors hope to establish themselves as more than a league doormat, they need to prove they can hang in the fourth... and with Derek Fisher (arguably, our best 4th quarter player) gone, it seems even harder this year.
