Murphy, Dunleavy, & Pietrus for AI.

Great trade if Philly would accept it.

1) Shred tons of Salary. Dunleavy's mammoth contract, and Murphy's.

2) Trade an over-hyped young player in Piertus.

3) Opens a spot for Diogu to play the 4-spot.

4) Puts the Warriors back on the map.

5) Opens up more time for Monta Ellis.

This needs to be done like now!!!!!!

Great for us but the sixers would have to believe dun would get better and pietrus and Murphy could play great in starting roles. Since Pietrus does have great potential (like Iguodala) and murphy is a proven contibutor, they might go for this but without dun most probable

i doubt philly would take dun, murph, and pietrus for ai but i would definitely do it if they accepted. honestly though, it would be hard to see baron, jrich, and ai coexisting in the starting line up. theres only one ball and those are 3 basketball players that are at their best when they have the rock.

I agree - I cannot see AI and BD co-existing...

AI would be awesome to get, but there's not going to be much chemistry, as supposedly BD already had beef with Monty. I'm still curious about Al Harrington, but it seems like theres just a huge delay now. If the Pacer get him, then I want to see a better trade for Murph.

1) Yeah, and we'd take ALLLLL that salary and put it on ONE guy (Iverson), making him a lot harder to trade. Brilliant idea.

2) Agree.

3) Any Murphy trade will do this; Iverson doesn't necessarily help that.

4) ...? Another year of not making the playoffs would "put us back on the map"?

5) ?!?! WHAT?? By adding ANOTHER combo guard? We're not trading BD in this scenario (plus, we still have JRich... who wouldn't play SF). That makes Iverson the combo backup for both. If anything, this roadblocks Monta!

Mullin won't even be thinking about iverson but any trade to get him would have to include Baron or at the very least, Baron would have to be moved somewhere else because it would definatley create a MAJOR logjam in the backcourt

I completely agree.

But Mullin's unquestioned faith in Baron Davis seems to be solid. I can't see him pursuing another starting PG next season.

The problem with Mullin seems to be his inabilty to either see where things are not so good or (and this may well be it) ADMIT to making a move that is not working and make another move to try to make the situation better! Montgomery is a classic case!

The biggest problem with Mullin is that he works for Cohan.

It's like in the Middle East, where they saw off the rapist's dick to keep him from f*cking people: the man himself isn't bad, just axe away Mike Montgomery.
