The Al Harrington trade is still in the works and hopefully it works out. Though no Warrior principals are mentioned, we'll all assume that is going to be Murphy and Pietrus. The Warriors may need a third team to get this thing done, but lets be optimisitic and say this trade happens.
Jermaine O'Neal is one of Al's best friends and Harrington has mentioned going back to Indy to play with O'Neal. Now, what if the Warriors were able to bring O'Neal here to join him. Baron Davis and Ike Diogu would work out perfectly for O'Neal. Yes, they'll lose another PG along with Fisher, but you can put practically any PG in there with that line up and it will work. Ellis and Bynum would be a great option.
Line up:
PG Ellis / Bynum
SG Richardson
SF Harrington / Dunleavy
PF O'Neal / Cabarkapa / Taft
C Biedrins / Foyle / O'Bryant

odds of that very low...but im all down of getitng rid of baron, he simply aint worth having and we should trade him before his name becomes worth nothing

chances are definately slim to none. bringing in AL is tough enough but jermaine is almost impossible. indy would want more than just baron and ike. and indy fans probably dont want baron anyways. because they already have a injured pg in tinsley, they dont need to add another one who makes that much money and chucks 3s all day. a jermaine oneal trade would almost have to include JRich and/or monta and possible biedrins. if you ask me its not worth it.

That isn't even a championship team. We're exploding the current core and coming up exactly where we are now.
O'Neal is as injury prone as Baron Davis. We'd gain nothing from this trade. So we're basically giving Indiana Ike Diogu and not improving at all. Bad idea. And Harrington is not an impact player. He's Jamison: Version II. The guy's most comfortable playing PF... and we'd probably force him to play SF out of position. If this trade happens for Murphy, I won't be sad at all... but it's nothing to get excited about. Leave Diogu out of any trade rumors in the next 2 years. He's worth way more than his numbers give him credit. ![]() GOLDEN STATE WARRIORS DIE HARD ![]() ![]() |

Huh? Do you know the games missed by both over the last 3 seasons? |

I don't want either one of Jermaine or Harrington! Losing Diogu is something that is not needed yet, the opposite is!
i'd rather put a package together for a guy like Kendrick Perkins, for his defense alone, than for a proven star, especially one that is rather disgruntled and injuryprone ![]() ![]() migya make the ring fall on ya |

Try the last 2 seasons (it's more relevant). In the past 2 years, Baron Davis has missed an average of 32 games. Likewise, in the last 2 seasons, Jermaine O'Neal has missed an average of 35 games. I guess you're right. I did mispeak. Jermaine O'Neal isn't as injury-prone as Baron Davis; he's more injury-prone by 3 games. Thanks for clearing that up. ![]() GOLDEN STATE WARRIORS DIE HARD ![]() ![]() |

heck yea...diogu can play, but he is injury prone...but good thing he only get's hurt in the offseason...hahaha

With all the bumps that kid takes inside (along with being undersized to begin with), you can't expect him to play all 82 games... but he'll probably give the team 75 or above on a consistent basis.

We'll call Diogu injuryprone when he IS!!!! ![]() ![]() migya make the ring fall on ya |

I just hope he gets more touches in the low post area!

He has to until he shows that he is not good enough to get the ball. He showed very good ability and ability that the team needs so it is a must that he gets to do what he does
