"The Indiana Pacers, the team Harrington left in a sign-and-trade two years ago to join the Hawks, and the Golden State Warriors are the teams making the most noise, Harrington said. "I have a genuine interest in both of those teams," he said.

there is the link to a rumor that has Indiana and Golden State in the running for Al Harrington.

I wouldn't mind getting him. But he wasn't my first choice....

i think indy has a better chance at him than us, though i would like him here.
friends with Jerm and they are more of a playoff team than we are.

I like him. He'd make us a better team inmediately. But, if Indy is interested, it's going to be a war. The team that offers more, gets Harrington, and the offer also has to be good enough for Atlanta, as it will have to be a sign and trade.

It's gonna be interesting.

Well, we can't get any worse on defense, and, even if he's not much of a threat from the perimeter, it would be a notorious improvement at SF. And if Ike starts, all the better.

I'm all for it.

Al Harrington is over-rated trash, he'll be overpaid, and he'd roadblock Diogu (he's a PF, not a SF).

Screw this idea.

Nah, he'd play SF. Just in a very Antwan Jamison way, minus the outside shot. He had to play almost exclusively PF in Atlanta because the Hawks had nothing inside.

Agreed. Harrington is so Jamison!

Maybe it will be a 3 team trade, Murphy to Indy, Harrigton to GS and Tinsley, Foster to ATL. This is what I would like to see happen being an Indy fan.

I wouldn't be opposed to that. But Atlanta should. They'd be better off not getting those two. Save the money for someone worthy.

How about Anthony Johnson and Austin Croshere, Croshere is a expiring contract that will give them money next off season when there will be better free agents. Plus he would be a good locker room guy for one season for a young team. I just want Murphy and Jo to play together I believe they would complement each other very well.

Could be, althought Atlanta has just signed Speedy Claxton, so they're not in dire need of a pg. Croshere would only be an expirer to make it work.

Agreed!

I don't want Harrington. He is good but Murphy is better for the team I reckon. Better off getting a SF that is more allround than Harrington
