dun is better than kyle and tho iverson is great i wouldnt want him on the team. tho i wouldnt be mad if we got rid of baron and got him instead.

Korver ====> PPG 11.5 | RPG 3.3 | APG 2 | FG .430 | 3PT .420 Dun ====> PPG 11.5 | RPG 4.9 | APG 2.9 | FG .406 | 3PT .285 No one knows what defense is about. Salary: Korver's contract is half of Dun's. I rest my case. |

Yeah, but Dunleavy has the ability to come up bigger than Korver can. For example, Dunleavy's capable of a 25 point, 10 rebound, 6 assist game. Korver can hope for 20 points on 3-point shooting alone. Those stats don't tell the whole story.

yea DUNLEAVY is hella better than KORVER
i just hope this off season when Mike works with the shooting coach he get his stroke back like he did back in DUKE. then he is definitley better than KORVEr.. Of course Dun's better, and by no means I meant starting KK. He's a specialist, as in come off the bench for about 20-25 per to HIT OPEN SHOTS. He's a TRUE jumpshooter. Kinda pricey, but he's still young.---***030***---

I agree. Dun can have much better games than Korver, but their stats are similar. This means that Korver has more consistency than Dun. I'd take 11 points each game instead of 20 one and 3 the next. On defense... both are bad defenders, but I think Korver tries harder, he just can't do more, while Dun doesn't have the heart to play tougher. Also, contracts should count when comparing players. People does it with Foyle (and I'm not excluding myself, I should be blamed too). The reason he gets so much heat is due to his contract. Is Foyle better than, say, Francisco Elson?. The answer is yes, but he earns seven times what Elson earns (for a similar production), and everybody would like to have Elson instead or Foyle for that role. If it applies to Foyle, it should apply to Dun too. |

But that's where Dun's 5 boards a night comes from... When Dunleavy doesn't score, he's usually doing something else (like an 8 rebound, 4 assist game... to go along with his sh*tty 7 points). But when Korver's off, there's nothing else he can really do. He'll always get the same stats across the board and you can't count on him to step up. With Dunleavy, he's proven he can step up offensively (hell, even on the defensive end... I don't need to remind anybody of what he did to LeBron this season). Dunleavy is an emotional player, so he plays to his high's and low's. Korver's not. I think that gives Dun the edge because he'll play amazingly, with proper motivation. No means do I think dun's good at all but Korver is just pathetic and if he can't shoot consistently, he has no place in the nba!
