So what would the Pacers line-up look like?
Tinsley J-Rich Jackson Murphy Foster That's not real convincing. J-Rich is just not a piece that the Pacers should covet with guys like Jackson and Jones. I like the current Pacers roster much better. |
More like AJ/ Sarus J-Rich/ Jackson Peja/ Granger Murphy/Croshere Harrison/Foster |

Why does everyone want to trade Jason Richardson? He's our franchise player and youre not going to find a guy who is more motivated and more willing to play through injuries. Keep JR!!!!!!

Consider that the Warriors need to make some changes if only to make room for the future.
Consider J-Rich is the only player that has any real serious trade value. |

I would do Jason Richardson and Troy Murphy for Jermaine O'Neal. I'd also offer Fisher for Stephen Jackson in the deal as well, since it seems as if the Pacers could use a PG. I would also switch draft picks, and consider just giving them this year's first round pick. We could give them Zarko as well. Anything to get this deal done. I want to see this roster with a new coach like Paul Silas.
Baron/Ellis/Bynum Jackson/Pietrus Dunleavy/Gay?(draft pick) O'Neal/Diogu Biedrins/Foyle/Taft Andris and Jermaine in the front court will be great defensively. Also having Stephen Jackson, Pietrus, and Ellis will give the Warriors three good perimeter defenders. This deal would improve the Warriors defense tremendously. The Warriors also fill in the three most impotant positions on a team, PG, post player, and head coach. Why should the Warriors trade Jason Richardson? Well if it's for one of the most dominant big men in the NBA, and if it will improve the team's defense, then I say do it. The Pistons before their championship runs, traded Grant Hill, which seemed like a terrible trade. Hill was the face of the Piston's franchise. But the deal in the end has made the Piston's franchise what it is today. I believe this type of deal can do the same for the Warriors franchise. |

I wouldn't trade J23 until the 09-10 season. I probably wouldn't do it then either unless he goes on one. He deserves our loyalty and should be a W for life+ thats when we'd really start to make our championship runs. I honestly would only trade him for Bosh, but he'll be much more closer to 15 million a year to hold on to. Bottomline, BD should be traded waaaay before J23---030---

So... your point is that we should trade J-Rich and keep Monty?. Almost sounds like a Kings fan to me... |

Don't trade JRich because he ACTUALLY wants to play for the Warriors.

Another problem with this trade is it solves our center problem, but leaves a hole at SF and a HUGE hole at SG. Pietrus, a starter? Please. Also, the trade is extremely unfair. JRich for O'Neal straight up sounds a little better. But that's not a good deal either.
