This is exactly what the f*ck I'm talking about. All these bullsh*t trades that make Golden State happy, but wouldn't get by the loneliest 15-year-old without a prom date in Indiana (aka, this guy). I'm getting tired of all these bullsh*t trades that package off Mickael Pietrus, Andris Biedrins, and Derek Fisher for some superstar... while the poster's sole response always remains the same: they'd love the potential! No. Teams don't buy potential. They gamble on it. That means we'd need to trade Jason Richardson & Mickael Pietrus for Carmelo Anthonty & Nene. There's no Melo for Dunleavy, Fisher, and Foyle. Denver wouldn't trade Carmelo (like Minny wont trade KG, Indy wont trade Jermaine, Memphis wont trade Pau, ect) for intangible, could-be pieces (such as two promising, unproven young bucks and Troy F'n Murphy). Stop living in the goddamn clouds, people. ![]() GOLDEN STATE WARRIORS DIE HARD ![]() ![]() |

Jermaine O'Neal is actually a realistic idea; it's not purely fantasy like Garnett.
Mullin has ties with Indiana, Golden State is in the opposite conference, there have been Jermaine rumors floating around nearly all season (so he's probably on the block), and Golden State surely has pieces that Indiana would be interested in. As long as they keep their mitts off Ike and JR, they can have anyone they want. ![]() GOLDEN STATE WARRIORS DIE HARD ![]() ![]() |

Agreed. Have to include Ellis too though---***030***---

Wrong way around - Garnett is unhappy in the TWolves and wants out and Jermaine and the Pacers have no reason to part ways since Jermaine is by far their best player ![]() ![]() migya make the ring fall on ya |

I just don't know why Indy would want to part with O'Neal so bad. What if they get by NJ in the first round? How about they get by the Heat in the next round? Why would you look to unload such a good player when you're going to the playoffs as it is? There is no chance they get equal value for O'Neal and certainly not from the Warriors. Just doesn't make sense. Besides, of course Ike is the centerpiece in any trade for either O'Neal or Garnett and for that reason I don't want to see it happen.

Neither player has expressed (officially) their want to leave their franchise. Likewise, neither of their respective teams have given much of a hint that their franchise players will be traded. Everything regarding the motivation for a trade with these two is purely speculation. That being said, if either (or both) of these two players came on the market, the Warriors have 10 times more of a chance at landing Jermaine than Kevin. ![]() GOLDEN STATE WARRIORS DIE HARD ![]() ![]() |

Many teams would be after Jermaine! He is slightly younger and a star in his own right. ![]() ![]() migya make the ring fall on ya |

Well, that's not completely true regarding O'Neal. He has never requested a trade, but he has motives to be pissed at the franchise. He was lied by Larry Legend ("Don't worry. We're not going to fire Isiah. That thought has never crossed my mind") and he was offered to Toronto for Chris Bosh during this season. He has never said anything against them, but still... |

That's why I'm saying, motives are all speculation. I'm sure KG hypothetically has a drive to leave Minnesoda, too... but nobody knows for sure.

Common sense tells us that KG is not happy after twice this season saying that things are not good! When a superstar displays displeasure, there is a huge chance that he will want to leave! ![]() ![]() migya make the ring fall on ya |
