Webber and Hunter have two knees... between both of them. Hunter even was traded to the Hornets this year and failed the physical.

magloire aint bad. we only need him rebounding and thats what hes best at. if we can get him at a reasonable price, id try it.

Chris Webber only plays in places where he's motivated. In Philly, he actually feels as though he's got a decent shot at a ring with Allen Iverson... be we all remember the injury-riddled, lukewarm C-Webb on Sacramento prior to the trade. Chris Webber only plays 50% when he doesn't wanna be there. Golden State is nowhere near a championship right now... and Webber is not going to change anything.

Besides, he's damn expensive and we've already got one max contract not earning his keep around here.

I completely agree. I'll be shocked of one (if not both of them) aren't seriously shopped around this summer by Billy King, especially after that incident a couple days ago... of course, I can't imagine any team (other than the Knicks, who do this kind of sh*t all the time) that would want to take these two guys off Philly's hands.

Yep. Iverson still has it (not sure for how long, given how fearlessly he plays and the beating he gets each season), so he has value. But he's the icon of the Sixers. I don't think he'll ever be traded. The city would be a riot against Billy King. As for Webber... best thing is he has one less year in his contract.

Well, on the surface it looks like it, sure. Allen Iverson (on paper) is a terrific player. But you gotta remember: wherever he goes, the team will suffer chemistry problems. Say, for instance, that he gets traded to the Bucks. Now, you have all sorts of young talent (Redd, Bogut, Magloire) not being utilized because Iverson insists on chucking up 40 shots a night. Meanwhile, in Philly, Andre Iguiodala would explode with more touches (proving Iverson's been holding back the success for talented youngsters around him).

Also, you need to remember that Iverson's pretty beat up for a guy his age. Little men don't last as long in the NBA (let alone one who drives to the hoop and gets body slammed 15 times a night). Mark my words, one of these days he's just going to inexplicably start missing 40 games a season. Injuries catch up to everybody... and, with smaller guys, it's often sooner than later. Iverson's health is already an issue with the 76ers (he misses around 10 games a year), but age doesn't make him look any more attractive.

So, really, in the end, you've got a 30-point scorer who roadblocks the rest of the starting lineup (unless it's somebody like Webber, Bryant, or O'Neal, who insist on getting their share of touches), whose health is becoming increasingly concerning. Sure, Allen Iverson is a quick-fix for a team looking to get to the 2nd round next year... but his usefullness will die in 3 years. Unlike KG, by that time he won't be able to still use his size as a factor. When Iverson's quickness goes (and it will), he'll end up looking like Muggsey Bogues II (with an outside jumper). Most GMs aren't willing to give the Sixers much for him (definately not equal value).
