as much as I want the Warriors to keep up the winning ways with the young ballers, I don't want to lose the chance for a 5-7 pick in the draft! Oh, what to root for?

Development of Biedrins, Diogu, and Ellis is definetly more important than the draft pick. Those guys are going to get a lot better than anything we will hope for with our pick.

lots of people are saying this is a weak draft. i hope the rooks get major minutes again and maybe they might surprise the nation again. i gave us no chance against a rested dallas team playing for first place after coming off a back2back, but i was way wrong. maybe we will surprise phoenix and the rest of the nation again on friday night.
go warriors!!!

No reason why both can't happen! The young players get alot of court time and the team still loses!

I guess the Suns have nothing more to play for until the playoffs. If I were D'Antoni I'd play Nash all of 20 minutes and get him a bunch of rest. This is a very winnable game for us.

I just don't understand why Adonyl is still starting.

The reasons that have been used in the past just don't make sense anymore:

#1: Chris Mullin signed him to a contract that defies the imagination: Through 2009 when Adonyl will be 34 years old and the Warriors will have to pay him $9.7M. OK. It's been a done deal all season. Adonyl Foyle's agent should make the All-Star Team for Agents, and he should also be banned from any future negotiations with Chris Mullin because it is a mismatch. But the damage is done. What does it help the Warriors at this point to play Adonyl just because Chris Mullin signed that contract?

#2: Surely Chris doesn't think starting Adonyl is going to fool other GM's into considering a trade just because Adonyl is a starting center. Surely Chris isn't trying to showcase Adonyl's talents at this late date. Right? Right?

#3: Is there anyone left in the Warrior Nation who still thinks Andris hasn't earned and earned and earned that starting spot?

So why is Adonyl still starting? :dontknow:

Oh well, who's going to win tonight? Almost impossible to predict. I think the primary factor will be how soon Monty decides to put in Monta and Ike and Andris and ramp up the speed and energy.

If he sits them on the bench or limits their minutes, Phoenix might run circles around our starting five.

Well, we'll find out in about an hour. Are you ready for some basketballlllllllllllllllllllllll? 8)

I liked the starting five but you just can't play the Suns tempo the whole time and expect to beat them. At some point you have to pound it down low and try to punish them for playing their style.

Man, Diaw is BIG. I mean, I knew what kind of #s he's been putting up as the center but he's bulkier than Marion and way more versatile. I think Diaw is their second best player after Nash. What a stud.

dunleavy missing layups...

repeatedly leaving your man and letting him shoot wide open jumpers.....

WOW!

it pains tom tolbert to watch fisher run the point. i'm glad i dont stand alone on this.
