Banks is a free agent...
Also, if we have to take Banks, f*ck KG |

I've been writing about potential KG trades for months! Lok back at the threads and you'll see some realistic trades!
Banks is a good player that would be good to get along with KG! Baron hasn't been much anyway ![]() ![]() migya make the ring fall on ya |

THIS trade I'd be willing to pull the trigger on... but good luck convincing Minnesoda to do the same.

Minny doesn't have alot of options though. KG probably won't leave till after the 06/07 season, or maybe b4 the deadline of 08. I think they'll take another crack @ it and see how well they do nxt yr b4 moving him.
|
I kind of agree. They'll give it another run next year, trying to improve the team anyway they can this offseason. If it doesn't work, they'll be open to trading him. Of course, KG will be a year older... |
|
After the horrific season they have had, there is noway the TWolves can hope that things will get better without major changes! Garnett also must see that there is no hope, as he has hinted at in interviews some couple of weeks ago. That partnership did not work and both have to separate. Thing is that many teams would be interested in Garnett but the thing is WHO is Garnett interested in? Unless the Spurs, Pistons, Mavs or Suns (the biggest possibility) can offer something decent enough, the Warriors would be one of the frontrunners. Like I've said before, young talent with potential is very attractive to most GMs and the Warriors have plenty of that. Just a prediction that I just thought of - The Suns might offer Marion, Kurt Thomas and Bell for Garnett (could also be Brian Grant instead of Thomas and/or JJones instead of Bell) and McHale would do it!!!!! and so would I ![]() ![]() migya make the ring fall on ya |

I don't know. GMs are pretty stupid sometimes. Phoenix offered Marion + fillers for McGrady and Orlando still picked Francis & Mobley... |
|
This trade just satisfies all three parties, TWolves, Suns and Garnett. Both teams would improve I think, at least the TWolves, with a good PG, which I think banks is ![]() ![]() migya make the ring fall on ya |

I heard that KG is going to get talked about in a three team trade with NY and Indy. KG goes to the Knicks, Jermaine O'Neal goes to Minny. Marbury goes to Minny also with Francis and Frye going to Indy. I can't see Indy doing this.
Maybe Minny would include their draft pick to Indy and unfortunately for NY they don't even have their pick anymore, the Bulls have it. Minny would have to get rid of more salary but I can't see who Indy would want from that team. I can't see them taking Francisfor that matter. Could Bird be that desperate to unload O'neal? I just don't see it. What a coup for NY it would be to land KG and move those two problem point guards while only losing the good prospect Frye. Why don't Indy and Minny get together and do a big man swap if KG wants out of Minny so bad? |
KG or no KG, Knicks will still be crap - They always are This trade is not that bad for all teams, Fryre looks the goods. KG will definately be involved in trade talks this offseason, alot of them! Mullin has to get in and offer big because this franchise and the city of Oakland need a megasuperstar for the first time in a long time! Success would almost certainly come as well! Like I've said before - Murphy, Dunleavy, Taft or Fisher and this draft's 1st round pick for KG or Baron, Murphy, Dunleavy, Taft or Fisher and this draft's 1st round pick for Banks and KG. Either of these two offers are better than most teams can offer! ![]() ![]() migya make the ring fall on ya |

What really messed Minny up was Mr. Smith. It stripped the chances of landing decent cheap talent, and now they are really feeling the effects
|
McHale. Smith was just happy McHale was there. |
