I was watching the Y2K allstar game and the boos were music to my ears. At least it told Cohan how the fans felt about the current front office at the time.

Yep, I watched it on TV and felt the same at the time. But it doesn't seem to have changed anything... well, at least, we're expending more money on players...

They do it because they know we'll pay it. We barely missed the playoffs this year; next year we're pretty much sure to make it (assuming we trade Murphy over the summer for a decent 3 or 5). Cohan and company knows that people will come see the Warriors play no matter what.

The point remains. Fans will pay to be apart of the season that we make the playoffs. If we get a playoff spot, fans in the Bay will flock to the Arena and sell the damn thing out. And we're at the door right now. Cohan knows that, so he can jack up the prices all he wants. People will still pay.

What does everybody expect?
The Warriors management has to pay for the contracts Mullin signed.
