Gonna be a much different test for this team to go up against 2 post studs like ZBo and Gasol. I suspect they'll pick a punk between Lee and Landry and just go to work. And if Bogut has another game where he only plays 20 minutes, the Warriors are in trouble.

Provided the backcourt shows up (which, in the Oracle, they definitely should), I expect this to be a Warrior victory albeit a close affair. The team needs to learn how to play with a lead. Whoever's team features the best post scorer (be it Bogut, Randolph, Gasol, Lee, or Landry) will take this game. Memphis has the evil twin version of Golden State's starting front court (skilled, passing center + slick rebounding 4 with touch). That makes Landry the wild card. The back courts will get theirs on both sides, but this ones gonna be decided inside.

Early Predictions:

Winner: Warriors by 6.
Leading scorer: Curry, 24
Best player: Lee, 16 points, 11 rebounds, 6 assists, 1 block, +8

We lose this game, because Bogut is not 100 percent, yet. I am okay with that though, basketball is a marathon.

Gasol and Randolph have the edge over Bogut and Lee because Bogut is not fit yet. Our backcourt should dominate theirs. Gay has a big advantage over Barnes while our bench has a big advantage over their bench. So overall, it should be an interesting game and a good early test for the young Warriors.

I'm interested to see how far they let Bogut go.

He was saying after last game, he'd like 25-30 minutes. That would be enough to make a huge difference.

Big test for us today. It'll mean a great deal if we win today too, because I think you can mark us down for a loss tomorrow against the Clippers. Losing two in a row and starting the season 1-2 isn't going to look good.
