I don't want to destroy anyones confidence here but you have to start questioning their chances to make the playoffs. They have been so inconsistent it's starting to scare me.

I'll wait til the deadline. But right now talking about the playoffs seems like a pipe dream.

Does doesn't it! Unbelievable how bad the team has played. They are much better than this!

But it's not true, either. There's always the Knicks! :)

Yes, we'll end up making the playoffs.

When the clippers own us and the team that we are competing for the last playoff spot owns us, and the Jazz (who we've been surprisingly playing good against Jerry sloans coaching) do well against us, I say no playoffs. We are sorta either hitting a wall, or we look lethargic or just stagnant. No things that look terribly good or any signs of cohesiveness. Injuries play a part too, but baron has said that he'll be back "when he heals" and this doesn't sit well with me.

So my answer (unless the warriors wake up and smell the coffee) is a resounding NO. Even if we make the playoffs, are they at least going to make it interesting against the 1st seed?

I caught that part, too... really shocked me. I thought Baron was happy in Golden State, but giving a vague answer like that was pretty much confirmation that he's going to sit at the end of the bench and give up on the season (like he did to the Hornets). It's really not sitting well with me, either...

Problem is all these all-stars want a championship handed to them. When they don't get a good season, they give up and make sure they are healthy for the market. THANK YOU PLAN B!!

Baron wont be on the market for quite a while. I don't think we need to worry about that.

But when we got Baron, there were only two things we had to worry about: injuries and motivation. He looks like he's having problems with both... which means that we may be hearing a lot of Baron bitching in the near future... I haven't given up on him, but he's starting to slowly slip...

Not all of them. But Baron did it last season in New Orleans...

Some players are more competitive than others, and those damned guaranteed contracts do not help at all. If they're going to get paid anyway and the season is going nowhere, why take risks playing?

Explain exactly how we'll make the playoffs.
