Curry / Ellis / Klay / D Lee / Udoh looked pretty good. I like having KT instead of Dorrell because he gives them another guy who can handle the rock and make plays, while still being able to stretch the floor. Also Klay's defense is underrated. Would like to see that lineup experimentation for a few games just to see if it's an improvement.

Agree 100%.

Is anyone against Biedrins-Udoh front courts, at least in small doses? I like the sound of those two smash mouths throwing arms around in the paint.

I would like to see this in small douse, but I think the fact that if one of them gets in foul trouble, or both of them do, you are seriously risking having to play ultra small. Also wouldn't mind seeing Udoh start at Center, and bring beans off the bench. I know coach won't go for it, but I think it would be better to get Udoh's hustle in the beggining of the games, and throw Beans in against their non starting centers.

I worry about Udoh starting at center... As gritty as he is, he's still 6'10" in lift shoes. And even though he can play center in small doses, I prefer playing him at the 4.

You can make a case for Rush because he's shooting way better than Wright is, plus he plays way better defense, can rebound better, and give you an occasional electrifying block. Right now, I think Wright should be the 3rd option at the 3 after Rush and Thompson respectively.

I would actually like to see McGuire Start, bring in his defense to start the game, and then play Rush, then Wright... with Klay backing up Monta and maybe getting some minutes at the 3 twoards the end of games.

Not opposed to McGuire starting, but I think Rush at SF just encourages Jackson to go small, which is fine for parts of the game, but not how we should start it. Rush has about the same standing reach as Dorrell, is a much better decision maker and defender. He should be getting the most minutes, and they should be at 3 instead of 2 since he doesn't have a very good handle. Should have traded Dorrell at the beginning of the season. It is still definitely possible with a lot of the biggest contenders being some of the worst 3 point shooting teams in the league.

BTW, late random news, but last sunday, I saw Klay Thompson with his gf (and possibly her parents) at the Big Sur... It was cool. We were at Julia Pheiffer Burns, where they have that awesome waterfall. Anyways, I took a couple pictures, but they came out terrible. Should have said hey, but I was on my way out driving, while he walking in.

go from having one of the shortest back courts to one of the tallest ... defense would be improved and we could bring D-Wright off the bench as our 6th man. **** would be lovely.

Weak as hell with the bigs. Monta must be traded for a good Center

You keep saying this but no team is going to trade a good Center for a undersized 2 guard so get over it. And don't mention Gasol, he is far more valuable than Ellis.

I don't think any of us would have predicted Ellis netting us a center the likes of Bogut.

I was begging for someone like Noah, but even that was met with laughs. For what it's worth, I think all steals in the trade department are transactions that migya is gonna call at some point.

I can't recall wanting Udoh for anything. I didn't even know who he was when the team drafted him.

I don't do many trade proposals anymore, but when I do them, the team comes out with the win :)

Although other sites in the Warriors community seem to undervalue Klay Thompson, I'm on board with this player.
I've seen enough over his time in the league to realize he's got game. Can he be more consistent? Of course. But he is a player who has in
the past, and I think will continue to, contribute to winning basketball. I also don't think he gets much credit for things he does even if he
is having an off-shooting night. Unlike Monta Ellis, if Klay is cold he is doesn't become a liability on the defensive end. Also 82games has
him as a net + player when he's on the court.

When the shots fall, everything is lovely. When the shots don't fall it's ugly. The guy plays pretty good defense; He just gets called for a lot of ticky tack fouls. I appreciate him taking on the task of guarding players like Tony Parker and other opposing teams' point guards too. If he improves in this area, even just a little bit, I'm sure everyone would be satisfied.

He does however need to work on his shot selection and his efficiency. I don't know about anyone else, but I just feel he should be shooting at a little better percentage inside and out. Handling, passing and finishing are other areas that he needs to improve on. He's been able to put the ball on the floor a little bit and get to the rim, but once he gets there he doesn't finish nearly as much as he should. Improving his handles might help him get better angles and a better step on the defenders. He also might consider improving his hops a little bit to help him finish better, but I don't how much of that might affect his jump shot. If he works on these areas of his game, he's definitely an asset.

Kudos to him for tackling Hibbert.

Everyone needs to look at the fact that the team is winning and Klay has been a major part of that as well. He isn't the best player. but you can't have a team full of superstars, it doesn't work. He fits better than Monta ever did and is a specialist with the outside shot, forcing the other team to repect that and guard him. He is a keepr and though he does need to improve in certain areas, as he currently is, he is a keeper and very good at his role.
