The FO would be happy if that was the salary they had to pay to keep Rush. I do think Toronto will offer him something like seven million, though hopefully not. I'd let him go for that money and resign McGuire, as well as look to also get a backup SG to replace Rush. I'd have Pietrus back cheaply. He defends and hits the outside shot, as well as running the floor well. The roster if more complete now and he'd fit in better, with his weaknesses masked.

MT2 mentioned today that Randolph wants to come back here. Would anyone take him at the vet's minimum?

Vet's minimum? Sure. But only if we strike out with Landry. I'd much rather have Landry come and play behind Lee than AR. AR garbage, but I'd definitely take a flyer on him for vet minimum.

Landry is quite garbage himself now, being really only a scorer and not helping in defense and rebounding like the team needs. I think AR would help a bit with that at least.

Landry is definitely not a garbage. He might not be a great rebounder, mostly defensively, but on the offense, he is dangerous in many ways. He can create his own shots, can play good post up, and scores out of offensive rebounds, where he is good, and we as a team were awful last season. Also, he's a tough player that is willing to do the dirty work. I know he is not mentioned a lot as a great defender, but he not a guy who doesn't play defense at all.
I heard quite a few times that he is close to show his potential, he just needs a good place for it, and that he started doing that in New Orleans, and before in Sacramento I believe.   |

That's pretty much my take. I think he would be third on my list after Landry and even Kenyon Martin. Only take him back for the minimum which would then hopefully mean we would also have enough $$$ to sign Rush and Dom. |

YES. I'd definitely take the Birdman. His style of play is exactly what we need for a reserve centre. Shot blocking, rebounding and high energy from a veteran player and hopefully Festus can eventually take over that role. |

Yeah..he would be just like another Barnes in our bid for the playoffs..I can see that happening. He just has a lot of off the court stuff going on..do we really need that?

I would love to cheer for the birdman. Would make the games a lot more fun to watch. Sort of like Turiaf. High energy player that can block shots and is cheap.

I'd take a flyer on him? A motivated Chris Anderson is an asset. Whether or not he looks at kiddy porn (  ), dude can block shots.

Chris Anderson is a player I've liked for years now. He'd be exactly as you guys have stated, a great energy player that rebounds and blocks shots very well in short minutes. That would mean playoffs for sure and possibly a spot or two higher than what the team would be. You have Bogut, CAnderson and Ezeli blocking shots, with defense also from Rush and Jack, also from McGuire if he was kept, which I hope he is.
