This draft couldn't have gone much better. The team gets their SF and backup big. Hope it all continues to turn out good.

Agreed...I was hoping for this, but I wasn't optimistic that it would develop like this for real. I'm thrilled.
Welcome, Ezeli. ![]() ![]() |

I have a feeling that Ezeli will be at worse better player than Udoh is.

I dig his name though... I wish he puts his first name on his Jersey. Can you imagine Festus in the back?!

Some people would read it like FETUS, so I'm fine with him having Ezeli at back.

Awesome draft so far.
For the #35 I don't know if they go PG Machado, or a 6th man guy who can get to the rim, perimeter defender, or another big man? |

We picked Draymond Green at 35, Rocky.

He wants to be a tough guy - Fistus might be the way to go. Though hard and harsh, tough I've heard and uh...... seen

Festus Ezeli and Draymond Green are toughness picks.
Well friggin done. After addressing the starting SF issue, Myers immediately turns his attention to Golden State's need for a backup big. Enter Ezeli, a smash mouth shot-blocking center, and Green, a wide-bodied 4 with grit. I'm officially pumped. Draft day worked out like a dream. ![]() GOLDEN STATE WARRIORS DIE HARD ![]() ![]() |

Very happy with this pick. We seem to get Kwame back without his contract, plus he is Wests guy and that means a lot.
The only thing left now is to get rid of Dorrel, Jefferson and most of all Mum-ra. ![]() Mullin is the Ultimate Warrior |

I'm not so sure about that Kwame comparison. Ezeli is a great defender (Kwame looked OK on D last season) and his thing is shot blocking, which wasn't Kwame's strong side. On the other hand, I think that Kwame was/is a better rebounder. I hope Ezeli will improve that segment of his game.
Anyway, I'm really thrilled with this draft. Can't wait for season to start now. ![]() ![]() |
