At long last, without having to deal their pick or Klay Thompson or ANYTHING, the Dubs get their dude. Harrison Barnes, welcome. Golden State fans, buckle up. The already vastly improved Warriors just got better. The simultaneous additions of a healthy Curry, Bogut, AND Harrison Barnes is incredibly nasty. Kudos, Bob. Already a happy draft day.

Honestly I was down on Harrison when I thought he was in our range. Then I was high on him when he went out of range. Now I am happy because he gave the a good interview.

The only way I'll feel better about this pick is if Drummond becomes a bust. I'm not excited about this pick.

Excited, knew MKG wouldn't fall, and sixers wouldn't give up Iggy so Barnes was in my opinion 3rd best option, and that is in a good way

Umm scouting report indicates his a shooter.
whens this team gonna draft a defender? (think id taken a flyer on Drummond) We a better team now, no doubt about it. But seen we have a shoot first point guard with a greedy shooting Klay Thompson.. I just dont know if theree gonna be enough shots. Umm ok. Best player available. Lemme sleep on this. Ill come around. |

Oh, come on 8th, even if Drummond becomes a star, it will take him at least 2-3 seasons...we'll be in playoffs all of those years this way.

For the record... Happy Warriors didnt get a chance to go after Lillard or Waiters. Those 2 guys were reaches.

BPA and a need as well, Pwano. Harrison is not just a spot up shooter, he can create, he's tough, and he's athletic, which is what West was looking for. He will get to the rim.

MKG was the guy wanted but I knew we would have to trade up to get him. Satisfied with Barnes, he definitely fills our biggest need. We could have done a lot worse. Interesting to see what happens later tonight with the rest of our picks, I am expecting a trade or two.

I just feel like we're getting more of the same thing. We don't need shooting. Someone explain to me what the difference is between Dwright/RJ and Barnes. The only thing I can think of is a step back mid range.
