Sacramento Kings select:

Doron Lamb, SG, Kentucky

Image

They might have been better off with some big to be a backup, but they are not bad there. Lamb could be a steal even, and he can be a great contributor off the bench, just what they need. Kings do have a nice starting lineup, especially with that trade I did. So, Lamb's scoring off the bench would make them quite a good team. Lamb is shooting 50% from the field with 16.5 PPG...that's amazing.

TORONTO RAPTORS

Thinnest Position(s): Power forward, small forward
Biggest Need(s): Shooting, post scoring
Key Pieces: Andrea Bargnani (C), DeMar DeRozan (SG/SF), Jose Calderon (PG)

Selection: Marquis Teague, PG - Kentucky University
Image

Lotta experts had him at the end of round 1. I consider this something of a steal.

Drafting for talent here. Fournier is a bit more of a risk, but at 19 has incredible upside.

A lot of things are going to change, now that Bucks have done that trade with Rockets...I don't think they would take Zeller now, but rather go for a good SF they could get, and then go for a big guy with their second pick. Though, they might find it more of a need to get a good big earlier.

Anyway,

the Milwaukee Bucks select:

Jae Crowder, SF, Marquette

Image

Jae is a terrific defender, he can guard both forward positions, also a great rebounder. He can score in a bunch as well...from pretty much ay position. An athletic player, a true slasher, and he would be exactly what the Bucks need at SF.
To be honest, he's one of my favorite players from this draft class, and I wouldn't mind if Warriors considered taking him.

Guybrush, you do realise that we're doing our own league and ignoring what is happening in the real nba? Don't look at it as what a team needs and include trades they've recently done before we started this mock draft.

We may even keep this going year after year, depending what everyone thinks.

I know, I'm just saying that they could go completely the opposite way of what I'm doing here, especially after the trade.
