Matt Steinmetz of CSNBayArea.com reports today, citing an unnamed source, that USA Basketball has settled on a roster for its 2012 USA Select team. This is the team that will practice against the U.S Olympic team this summer in preparation for the London Olympics.

The roster is as follows:
• DeMarcus Cousins
• Jeremy Lin
• Klay Thompson
• Kyrie Irving
• John Wall
• DeMar DeRozan
• Paul George
• Gordon Hayward
• Kawhi Leonard
• DeJuan Blair
• Ryan Anderson
• Taj Gibson
• Derrick Favors

If there are any changes to this roster when the official announcement comes, we'll let you know. Usually, though, Steinmetz is right on the money with these sort of things.

Basically the practice squad, but it should still provide a really good experience. Kudos to him.

Nice, it will be good exp for him. Curry went and then ended up in the Basketball World Tournament. At least getting in could set him up to be a candidate for that in the future.

Let's just hope he doesn't roll and ankle and continue to irritate it for the following two years...

Congrats to Klay. BTW he needs a nickname. nothing on TV so was just watching some old DVR game of Warriors vs Kings in SacTown. Even when his shot is struggling, he's someone who contributes. I'm trying to contain my homeristic bias and thinking maybe another Mike Dunleavy?? Nah. I like what I see, and I see a guy who already plays like he belongs in the NBA, makes plays, and won't settle for being mediocre. I'm going all in ---- future all star.

Lol I think what I was tryin to spit out there was that I hope my blind bias isn't projecting another Dunleavy to all star status.

"Dunleavy" and "all star" 2 things that don't belong in same sentence
