You also got to take into account that Kidd-Gilchrist was on a way better team.

Barnes does look good, especially athletically, but I'll take MKG given the choice. His measurements are better, bigger standing reach, wingspan and less body fat, which may indicate he is fitter. Height is almost the same and negligible, as skill overcomes that, especially such a small difference. As for the averages for last season in college, well that can be attributed to MKG being on a loaded Kentucky team.

It really comes down to having seen them play, because going by stats, anyone saying that MKG is even a lottery pick, let alone possible #2 pick, is somewhat insane.

I'm wondering which teams would want the Warriors 30th pick and be desperate enough to trade for it?

I would look into trading this pick + another one of our 2nd rounders to get a 1st round pick next year. Hopefully someone drops to 30 where someone would want to move up to get him. Unless another barrage of injuries occur, we're probably going to surrender our pick to Utah next year considering our improved roster. It also wouldn't hurt if we could package RJ/AB/DW + #30 + 2nd rounder for a future 1st.

I'd look to trade the #30 and all the 2nd rounders to move up, even if just to something like 24 or 25, but otherwise, probably better staying put and see what falls to #30.
