Terry is a free agent and if the Mavs want to get Deron without a sign and trade with the Nets, liely they'll let Terry leave. Wonder what price he'll be around, as he is on 11.5 million right now, but reckon he won't get that anywhere else.

Not that the Warriors have any cap space and not that we'd need him much, but what's the thought about signing him if he went for no more than 7 million and we some how had cap space to sign him? I personally wouldn't do so UNLESS we got rid of one of the two bad contracts for cap space and even then it'd be after getting a very good SF to start.

Terry can be real good, but he seems to have fallen off a bit. Nate is a similar sort of energiser and scorer off the bench, though not as good ofcourse.

Reckon Terry will probably go to a team that is already a playoff one and still get at least 7 million a year.

Nothing to do with him. If we ad a SF this summer he will be:
a. A superstar or All star via trade
b. A future All star via draft.
He is neither.

Do we have to get to the details of clearing first salary cap and then sign someone each time we are discussing an idea ? Isn't that obvious?

If we forget about salary cap for a sec, I still wouldn't do it. He is declining, and he plays a position that we don't need at all. And his role as well, a scorer, which we have, a few of them actually.

Count in the salary, and then it's definitely a bad choice for Warriors.

Well, obviously salary space would have to be made, but the reason I mentioned Terry is because he is still young enough that he could be signed for at least three years and he has ALOT of playoff experience.

I wouldn't want him, but his experience in the playoffs could be a big thing if the team does indeed get to the playoffs for a few years from now on.
