Hadn't seen it yet so thought I'd make this thread to keep track of the team's progress down the worst team list until season's end. Mods, feel free to update this first post in this thread as the days go by, as I'm not always here when you guys are.
Going by wins not losses
Charlotte 7-59
Washington 20-46
New Orleans 21-45
Cleveland 21-45
Sac 22-44
NJ 22-44
---------------------- Utah gets Warriors pick
Golden State 23-43/Toronto 23-43 = Coin Toss
Detroit 25-41
Lottery/7th pick/tank schedule

Remember, it is no guaranteed if we are in the worst 7 records that we get the 7th pick... Example, if someone with a lower odds of winning (Detroit, Utah, Phoenix, etc) nabs a top 3 spot, suddenly we are handed the 8th pick in the draft and losing it to Utah.

I don't think 2 teams can jump ahead of you.
I think the lottery is only open for the 1st pick & that a team with the 8th,9th,10th best record cannot win the 2nd pick in the draft.

No, Hobbes is correct. The lottery is for the first 3 spots. It is possible, but very unlikely that the 12, 13, 14 teams end up 1,2,3 picks.
SO, say we end up with 7th worst record, we would have these possible draft positions:
1st, 2nd, 3rd, 7th, 8th, 9th, 10th.

That's right. Still, getting 6th spot should be enough, but the way things are going the team could get as low as 4th, definately a chance of getting 5th worst record. Looks real good and I think the team will get the 5th worst record, as there is quite a few bad teams in the East lower than us who play each other still

Ahead of Detroit now 1.5 games away from from being in the bottom 7 and 2 games away from being in 5th spot. A top 3 spot not so much a dream, but a real possibility
A little premature, Detroit only has 20 wins after tonight.... We are still .5 games ahead of them.

It doesn't really matter to me, because I just feel the Warriors are going to lose their draft pick to Utah when the ping pong balls come out.

If they got to 5th worst record, three teams wouldn't pass them in the lottery, just wouldn't happe, such a looooooong shot of that happening. They finish 7th though, IF the knobs finish 7th, much easier for one team to go ahead of them in the lottery. Really pissed right now
