Well, yeah, but remember that Utah still doesn't have that pick guaranteed. This way they get something for sure. Otherwise, if we suck enough they can end up with nothing at all. So, there might be something to this...at least I hope.

Good point but the trade will happen after the season end, if needed. You never know with those balls..

Sacremento looks like they are about to beat Memphis. If they keep this up. It will be a step closer to that lottert pick.

Yea, Kings just won, so that gets them within two games. Definately looking good and with some of those East bad teams facing each other the rest of the way, that should just make it easier for the team to get into the top 7

It would be brutal if we get in the top 7... & then a team that is better then the worst 7/8 wins the miracle lottery combination (therefore pushing us out of the 7th pick into the 8th. |

If that happened, it happens, but you can't get a top 7 pick if you're not one of the bottom 7 teams ![]() ![]() migya make the ring fall on ya |

That's not correct bro. The lottery works on a combination of numbers for all teams that missed out on the playoffs. You could potentially have come 9th in the WEST (won 40-45 games in the process) and still land the no.1 pick in the draft. The odds are small, but it does happen. In that case the 9th best team in the West gets the 1st pick & then the worst team in the league would get 2nd pick in draft. 2nd worst team in the league would draft 3rd so on and so on. |
|
I know how it works Pawno What I meant is that if your in the bottome seven, the chances of getting a top seven pick are much higher, as in you don't need to move up in the order. ![]() ![]() migya make the ring fall on ya |

If we pick in the Spurs slot, a couple of guys I like are:
Jae Crowder, Big East POY from Marquette (check him out in the touney if you haven't). A bit older but ready to contribute. He's built like a tight end, is a great defender and hustler with some range on his shot. Great glue guy who can do a bit of everything well. Also Quincy Miller from Baylor who is a 6'9 SF with a 7'4 wing span and great versatility. A bit like a poor man's KD. He tore his ACL as a senior in HS, so could be going a bit under the radar despite a solid season as a freshman. Has a weird release on his shot, but could be a great mismatch. Get Money. Get Paid.

For the spurs pick I like Fab Melo or Mason Plumlee.
If by some miracle we get #1 pick, Got to get Davis. # 2 or 3 got to get Drummond if he is there. If we get # 7 would like to get Sullinger if possible. "Hard Work Beats Talent, When Talent Doesn't Work Hard"

I want us to pick the player Jerry West want us to pick. Klay seems to be the best pick the Warriors made after Webber. This guy has the Eye. A pick that successful in this draft can make us the next Thunders but with Bogut and Curry and Lee in there? The sky is the limit.

Wonder if that ISU Royce White would fall to us in the late first round.

Pick the best player that can make immediate impact or pick a player who going to take time to develop (if you trust this coaching staff to help that player to polish his skills fast enough to make an higher impact than the immediate impact)?
