I really don't see Monta as the problem. We should use curry as trade bait since he is more appealing to teams anyways despite the injury. Maybe get some picks for him.

Monta Ellis is at his best in an isolation offense starting on the wing or a fast break offense. Thus far, Jackson and Malone have employed pick-and-rolls, post-up isolation, and lots of perimeter ball rotation. Monta just doesn't want to play like that. He's definitely not a bad piece to have... But Jackson wants to change the culture by emphasizing defense, smart possessions, clock management, and discipline. Ellis, for all his strengths, excells at none of the above. ![]() GOLDEN STATE WARRIORS DIE HARD ![]() ![]() |

This team is so so inconsistent, they are not making the lottery that is for certain, team is too talented but not talented and disciplined enough.

Only the FO can help us tank. With a bomb.

SHOULD WE TANK???? YES
My thought has changed. I want a top 7 pick in this draft & then we ship our 1st round pick to Utah next year when we are a playoff calibre team. |

Will be almost impossible to get the seventh worst record from here on out. Be great if it happens, but we have to understand that likely it won't.
Further trades and free agency this offseason are the best bets to continue the good change of the team ![]() ![]() migya make the ring fall on ya |

You have little faith in the tanking process, we would only need to play like the Eastern Conference doormats for half of our remaining games.
It will be impossible to catch the very bottom teams but the Warriors are more than capable of sufficiently tanking. |
|
Take a look at it, the team would have to win no more than 25-30% of their games and have the team with the current 7th worst record win about 50% of theirs at least. That's like only winning about 7 of the remaining games, not going to happen. I'd like to keep that lottery pick in this draft, would allow the team toreally transition into a long term playoff one, but improvement will have to come through more trading and free agency.
What is more possible is the team making the playoffs. If that happened and Bogut came back fully healed, Curry also, team could on a run in the playoffs like the Grizz did last season. That'd be a real good showing of what this roster could do ![]() ![]() migya make the ring fall on ya |

Lacob should send an order to play Tyler. Playing Tyler = Automatic losses.

Maybe Lacob should just send those thirteen biches in your sig to get all the team's boys too tired to play

I counted 14...I guess I'll have to take that one then.
Lacob or Railey said that we can't improve our team through FA, after they've signed Jefferson. That's the reason they've done that deal, that they can't attract big names and good players via FA, so they decided to do it through trades and draft. So, it's either draft, or more trades. FA is not our friend at the moment. ![]() ![]() |

Count again, there's only 13. Draft is as good as gone with our lottery pick looking like it's Utah's. FA might not be available, but trades are always there, just look at the few awful ones the last few days and the vast quantity over the years. There's still good moves to be made and the team only needs one or two now ![]() ![]() migya make the ring fall on ya |

TANK you very much warriors, lets go top 7 pick.
|
|
Migya's right, it's going to be nearly impossible to tank enough to get in the top 7. Detroit is the 7th-worst team right now, if they continue at their current winning percentage the Warriors would have to go 5-20 the rest of the way to finish "behind" them. Even without Curry the rest of the way, I can't see that happening.
