Utah Jazz general manager Kevin O'Connor told the Deseret News Monday that he and the rest of the basketball operations department have been active on the phones.

"We're active. We're listening," O'Connor said. "We're aggressive in trying to talk (about) things."

The players who could be moved by Thursday are Devin Harris, Raja Bell and Al Jefferson. Harris doesn't seem to be a good fit with Utah's offense, Bell has had issues all season with head coach Tyrone Corbin and Jefferson is the likeliest big man to be moved.

O'Connor says he's not seeking a short-term fix.

"It would have to be something long term," he said.

would anyone be interested in a ellis-jefferson swap?

HELL YEAH.

Would Utah do it?? Jefferson is easily twice the asset Ellis is...

PG - Steph Curry / Nate Robinson
SG - Klay Thompson / Brandon Rush
SF - Dorrell Wright / Dominic McGuire
PF - David Lee / Epke Udoh
C - Al Jefferson / Andris Biedrins

Maaaaan, that's danger. Lotta splashy shooters outside those twin towers. Both posts have midrange. Both guys can perform magic in single coverage (Jefferson can DOMINATE). Duuude, as a big Jefferson fan, I'm way on board here.

Warriors finally traded Monta (included Udoh and Kwame) for Bogut and Capt Jack wow. If this deal go through Mark Jackson better start playing Klay, Jenkins, and Tyler. I hope the coaching staff teaches them and put those player in a situation where they learn from their mistakes and correct them by next year. I have a feeling Mark Jackson going to give Capt Jack more playing time over Klay.

Found it:

But we really gave them Ekpe, even though we took Jax's awful contract? But why?

It is debatable that Monta for Bogut is worth enough for Warriors...now, I think we could have dealt this better.

I am glad we got Bogut, but that's too much. If we are taking back Jackson's contract, Monta and Kwame should have been enough.

32, you ripped me and others on more than one occasion saying Kwame couldn't be dealt, care to take that back now?????

Yeah, I thought of that thing too. LOL And we all forgot about Kwame completely because of it. :)

And I believe Monta might play his first game for Bucks on Friday, when they are coming to the Oracle.

There are no deals in place to move DWright, Biedrins or Stephen Jackson, I'm told, but I believe GSWs are looking at trading away all 3.

By Tim Kawakami.

Not going to happen a slumping DWright, AB garbage, and Capt Jack Cancer. Not a lot of value for other team to take on , unless management can convince if DWright moves to another team he can flourish, and can be expiring contract next season.
