Had to start the topic about this guy, great pick up by the warriors, his speed and first step is unreal, guess we have our back up point guard.

Yeah, I love watching him. Instant fan favorite (well, maybe second after Brandon Rush).

I would add to that list of potential fan favorites McGuire and Brown. Both are playing great defense so far. But, obviously, Rush is doing it on the both ends, and is playing extremely well.

Yeah Ish Smith got a nice quick first step. This team has some nice early on wins.. Now i sit back and wait to see what Mark Jackson can do with this squad on the road.

Would everyone say Ish Smith got a bit of JJ Barea in him (small, pocket rocket, can score, can setup)

I definetly see JJ Barrrea, just potent like a rocket, great of the bench, decent handles, nice hesitation, just solid.
Overall, great pick up on the others guys mentioned as well, Brown is playing active on the boards and defense, Brandon Rush well I don't need to say much about him, I know it is early, McGuire played decent, bench is deep enough, skilled enough and playing defense. Reading around the web, major talk is that the warriors are actually playing defense. |

I think it's important to get a feel for everyone getting minutes at the start of the season.. Mark Jackson hasn't set his rotation yet.. So it's good to see guys like B.Rush. I.Smith & even K.Brown step up and achieve the opportunity.
I think something really important in the warriors favor is we have young legs and will be able to deal with the back to back to back nights and the 5 games in 7 days rotation. |

Yeah, unfortunately Klay is falling off the rotation. He is just a rookie and has all the skills to be a decent player. He just seems a bit overwhelmed so far by the speed of the game.

THIS McGuire looks like what we've needed for years. |

Ismael Smith has just been waived as reported by Matt Steinmetz on twitter @MSteinmetzCSN
He reckons we will pick up a big man. |

Pawno you're too fast. Just posted on the ticker, and I'm 15 minutes too slow. Obviously a big man is coming, it will be interesting to see who it is.

damn, feel sorry for the kidd. He was giving it his all. Hopefully he lands on his feet. I am sure there are some teams out there that will sign him.

Yeah, there will definitely be a team that will pick him up. He played good when he got a chance. But, since we got Nate he lost his minutes. Some team who lacks a PG will try him out a little for a while, at least. After that, it's all up to him and his play.
And I'm looking forward to see who that big guy might be. ![]() ![]() |
